Is it possible to make a iTunes remote where there is 4 buttons: Stop, Play, Previous, Next. Play plays it, stop plays it, next goes to the next, and previous goes to the previous.
@Klockifice You could do this easily if you learned a bit of Objective-C for the UI and set your app up to run the AppleScript relevant to the action you want to perform. However, it seems a little bit pointless because iTunes already has a mini-player view.
Hey, how can i make itunes show different languages cuz i have some music in different languages but it shows them in these weard icons so yeah can you help ?
I'm new to all this, but in regard to ur video on the above script how do you find all those scripts in the library that relate to the various applications (e.g. iTunes) I couldn't find them on my Mac (Snow Leopard).
Also, I'm looking for a script that i can use to open safari and play something from You Tube.......any ideas. tks paul g
You don't have to be eighteen. You only need that if you want to be a registered developer. If you just want to fool around with your own code, I believe that you can build without registration. If I'm wrong though, please correct me.
Of course! Although you'll have to learn how to use Xcode, which I have no experience with apart from the time I opened it. If I ever get the time to fiddle with it, I'll make a tutorial on how to make a basic application!
To bring up the library Click Window in your menu bar and then select library. Then you can double click an application and see the library for that app.

I made this one 4 months before i saw the vid.
it tells me the weather, date, time, internet radio
itunes play the internet radio. 5 min later it gives me a reminder. 2,5 min again a reminder.
after every reminder music goes louder and louder until i'm able to trun it off with the remote control

Great Video. I wouldn't mind learning a bit of applescript either.
