  • This is important. I picked up a Surplus German K-98 and most of the time I tried to fire the gun the gun wouldn't fire. Even with multiple primmer strikes. I checked the protrusion and it was around 40 thousandths. I filed down the cocking piece until the protrusion was around 65 thousandths. Now if fires every time with no miss fires.

  • I have alot of other projects lined up but some day before to incredably long I will. Maybe when I do a Mauser review.
