  • Officially you can't wildcamp anywhere in the lakes, you get away with it if you are up a hill but that doesn't sound like you'd be doing that. There are plenty of camp sites on the East side of Ullswater. I need to get Doris out on the water again, maybe this weekend if the weather stays fine.

    I've camped on the islands on Loch Lomond but thats abut 4 hours from Durham but is fantastic.

  • alreet m8 jst firstly great vid and i have jst bought a tahiti hf k109 3 berth 4 me and my son paid 100 pound 4 (MEGAN) thats the name my son called her anyway only taken her to durham (river wear) so far jst to test her out i was well happy i have 2 canadian style paddles a bit zigzagy on ya own but perfect with two thinking of heading up to derwent or ullswater with my son going to take tent make a wkend of it do u know of any camping restrictions
