'Don't matter if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear, just sing, sing a song! ~That by the way is a song by the Carpenters, first sung by a group of Japanese kids that the band got to sing with them when they played a concert in Japan decades ago. Really cute video, thank you so much for posting!! :)

  • When the kids were singing, it almost made me cry. My dream is to teach English to those little guys. I didn't know how much I really wanted to achieve this goal of mine until I saw this video and teared up lol. I know I'm a dork haha.

  • It is an old English pop tune that I have heard more in Thailand than I have heard in the US in the last 30 years! It is Sing by the Carpenters and although my Japanese is VERY rusty, I believe they sang the whole thing but the last line in Japanese. Last line was in English just for you! Lyrics to follow:

    one is a teen .. they are always cute when their little, they can do no wrong... but later...lets just say that sometimes I wish I did more than just give him time-outs.LOL

    {naah ..he's still a great kid ..he just tests his boundaries..}

    Most of the time with my exchange programs, I met with the middle or high school students and they're not active and curious at all. Really wanted to apply and join for it but i dont have time lol Maybe next 555

  • @mikigohan96 ohh i thought no one would have noticed that! yay  you did! haha Well in Japanese schools they teach kids to play unicycles so every kids can do it. It's very common in Japan :) You have to come here someday :D There are so much to see!

  • @alexproject25 YES this job-- PATIENCE required! hahaha Last year i was selected as the city's advisor so i got to go to many schools and did something like this all year long! :D ohh and the song the kids sang, it's not just you! me too! haha I couldn't catch the phrases at all but i was told it's an English song. Anyway, one of my American friends said he sang this song in his elementary school too. ohh Christmas carol??? hahaha

  • @briandudeathome We had like 5 or 6 self-inroduction all day long!!! hahaha like there were many sessions and different groups of people so we had no choice haha.

  • @BelieveInFate Thanks so much Ray. Yes it's a volunteer program for the school called "local exchange". There are a lot more programs actually. These are amazing chances to broaden your horizon :D You need to come to Japan one day :) and maybe take a tour to Thailand also?! haha I'll take your advice on posting it at the forums. Glad you like this video :)
