I ran this with a pretty much a mirror pc except my cpu is a q6600 @ 3.6ghz and i got x12771.

Does the 3d benchmark vantage really care if you're running 1x gfx or SLI / crossfire? If I can recall correctly, these programs does NOT! But I could be wrong... well, atleast I'm prefering to the demo version that you can download from their website.. Since I'm going to run SLI soon myself, it would be fun to know for SURE if it really counts higher scores :)

This is a bunch of crap! a 12,408 score with 3 way GTX 260's? LMFAO no way! I get 16,500 with 2 EVGA superclocked edition GTX 260's in 3Dmark Vantage. If I had 3 my score would be over 20,000. This video Fails completely. The builder of this PC must have put them on a junk motherboard, not had enough ram, and a slow ass processor; all of which would not be able to handle the load or it's a complete lie.

sorry for off topic but your experience score in windows is 5,9, I got older pc, single 8800 gt, x2 amd procesor and 4gb ram, and Iam at 5,8 cause of hdd speed and procesor, ram score is 7,1 and both graphics scores are 6,8...yours is somehow 5,9 for all

if he had about 200-400 more watts his score would prolly be higher cuzz those cards i know this cuzz i have the evga nforce 790i ftw with 3way sli on gtx 295 and i have a Thermaltake ToughPower 1500 Watt power supply and i need to find a 2000 for it to be prime and my scrores only about as much as his, power does effect the preformane of the cards by alot

the gtx 295 is a dual gpu card u can get 2 way or 4way sli.

wth are you talking about kdog? as long as the power is pure and theres no fluctuations, it shouldnt affect performance at all. The GTX260s in tri sli doesnt even utilize all 1000w's. Also, whats REALLY important about a power supply isnt the wattage, its the AMPS. a 2000W psu (which doesnt exist, mind you), wouldnt run anything if it had only 50Amps on the v12 rails.

If you have the e8400 then the cpu itself should actually be able to handle a safe oc to 3,6ghz without overclocking the ram.But i'm not sure about the oc-cooling capabilities on the fan you've mentioned.Try looking up reviews on that cooler and watch some OC vid's on youtube on the e8400,you'll notice that most people get it to or even slightly past 3,6ghz without troubles,some even seem get it to 4ghz on air cooling.

High settings is not the same as Extreme. Extreme is more than 1680x1050 and you won't be able to run it unless you have a monitor that can support higher than 1680x1050.

you can do very high but on low resolution

also 9800GTX you should be good at high for very high you should have them in sli.
