  • Steps for BJJ

    a) Act like a monkey

    b) Throw YOURSELF to the ground

    c) Play footsies.

Say what you want, I am unimpressed.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano but then you get in a fight with one and you either get your arm/leg snapped in half or you get choked out. [:

  • @iNFKr3w My friend, there are several Martial Arts that let you choke/hold/break your opponent without having to look like THAT...

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano And I am guessing wrestling is one of those. But eh, I don't like rolling around in a over grown thong with another guy [: But hey that's just me, do what makes you happy [:

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano Haha keep watching teen titans you loser.... i would love to choke your ass out, regardless of variation...

  • @YOUNGYEE831 LMAO, what did you do, go to my page? Stalking me? And Im the loser? Good luck with that.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano its not a street fight, its sport jiujitsu. Just because someone wont "stand up and bang" with you doesn't mean they cant fight. Your friends will be unimpressed when you get choked out and look like a moron.

  • @AVetter90 Well it's sort of hard to fight a person when they flop on the floor and flail their arms at you, I suppose. Real impressive.

  • @SpadaccinoLuciano you obviously dont have the mental capacity for such an art form.... And i could take a wild guess and say youre an overweight piece of shit. talk as much shit as you want. youre the loser.

  • @YOUNGYEE831 Lmao, youre real big yourself, taking about a martial art that makes you choke out an opponent. Excuse me if I dont think falling down and spreading my legs is an art form.

  • they behave like a bunch of monkeys.

  • 2:18 BEST OF ALL GUN

  • isnt barral reaping the knee at 3:18 ??

  • in a real fight bjj sucks karate and mauy thai work so much better. i mean the armbar is good but if there is more than one guy fighting you. which happens a lot to me i use a round house kick to the face a knee to the ribs

  • @TheFightscenes that was actually disproven in fight science. look it up..its on youtube

  • @TheFightscenes real life ryu right here LOL

  • @TheFightscenes fantastic for ground work though. if a real fight did happen and you get knocked down it will be a great tool.

  • @TheFightscenes for more than one person, your going to need a gun. take it easy Bas Rutten

  • 2:29 ALLIANCE TEAM RULES ;)

  • i have studied jiu jitsu for 10 years and have never seen anyone push or shove anyone after a match thats bad for the art /sport

  • "Awesome

How Small Guys Beat GIANTS in BJJ

    MicroBJJ (dot) com"

  • 0:55

  • choosing a winner through rock,paper,scissors..how unprofessional. You would think an extra round would make more sense

  • @HDGodStyle You're lost aren't you? You either have an extremely long thigh to knee someone 5 feet away attempting the double leg or have the reflex to knee with power in a millisecond. I'd like to see you elbow someone's neck and kill them when their neck making contact with the side of your body. You won't reach the fcking neck. You clearly have no background in fighting or just a terrible background with terrible teachers.

  • I'm gonna be completely honest... I've wrestled with women just like this as fore-play... How you can fight with it I have no clue. You try and crouch tackle/hug me and ima knee you in the face then drop and elbow on the back of your neck. After that, wether you live or not is not my problem.

  • @HDGodStyle You're a retard

  • @HDGodStyle Ignore the insults people might give you regarding that comment, if you want to find out then go to a gym and give it a go, that way you can see how people fight with this amazing martial art, alternatively you can continue to place comments on youtube video's for Jiu Jitsu when, in short, you havn't got a clue what your talking about.

  • @rxpom hey bro I dropped it like 4 weeks ago yet you guys want to continue. How about I just take a baseball bat to all ur fucking skulls so you shut the fuck up. I've been trying to ignore this sht but it's comment after comment after comment. I had a personal opinion and u guys decided to troll about it just get on with your lives, please.

  • @HDGodStyle OHH! hahaha ur gonna use a bat now thats cute, wat happened to the elbow? Threatening people over youtube, watr u 14? No wait thats to cliche, ur probobly just retarded lmao

  • @ScreamFlip naw I just don't like peoples blood on my hands, and it's not a threat i'm just saying what i'd really like to do. Why wont you guys just let it be? Bunch of no lifes gotta keep a shitty conversation going on for like a month when I don't even give a shit anymore.

  • @HDGodStyle awh im a no life now, thats the best, most un used insult iv ever heard! Yeah u go hard udw blood on ur hands, stfu punk bitch ur a joke, hahaha obviously u do give a shit when ur leaving ignorant comments such as these and if ur excuse is "u guys wnt leave me alone" that still means ur annoyed at us, which means u do care. Dnt u just love common senseXD

  • @ScreamFlip Cute.

  • What a disgrace to the sport with that shove...

  • lana ass kicker stefanac

  • How did he do the choke at 4:35? Was that with the guy's gi?

  • bjj is literally like a watered down version of wrestling

  • it looks a good martial art but is this deadly as judo.

  • poha, deve ser foda p caralho ser um juiz de BJJ !

    HAhah....

  • Ok so no disrespect. I am an experienced grappler but I've always been kinda curious. In no gi grappling what would happen if one guy got an obvious erection just before the start of the match?

  • @NDNguitarguy A suprise when for the other guy when he pulls gaurd

  • @NDNguitarguy They consult the No-homo clause in the rules and disqualify him if they can prove he got it from seeing his opponent.

  • lol it was like 'here you see the great fighters of bjj.. oh and in the women division well.. we don't give a f*ck and we won't show you the scenes of submissions,i will however throw a gracie daughters name just enough to seem we do care...'

  • Gracie Barra !

  • is this the worlds in long beach, california?

  • size does matter if you know how to use it in your advantage

  • ha! ye the guy who shoved WHAT AN UPSET FELLOW

  • come on.. just watch UFC fights and you'll see if jiu jitsu works or not in street fights..

  • @guisanfe Umm???. That doesn't really matter at all. This is jiu jitsu not a bad ass competition.

  • Comment removed

  • jui jitsu is excellent for sports but it won't really work in street fights, the movements are too stationary

  • @scary00001 but in street fights the opponents rarely have fight training so they wouldn't know how to reverse an attack... You could break the other guys arm in 3 seconds

  • @Roundfull yea but in street fight there arnt any rules either, i'm sure they can bite the arm locking then, or even scratch, claw etc, even farting in their faces? haha idk

  • @scary00001 haha you might be right if it was someone who just started, but if you went to a studio and rolled with anyone with a blue or purple belt you'll get your ass kicked. I did no matter how small they were.

  • @DrBrosie yea perhaps it'll be troublesome if it was a purple or higher belt lol

  • @scary00001 Yeahh, think about it it, a purple belt has around 4 years experience, in a street fight you don't have the comfort of tapping out. It's ridiculously easy for someone to break your arm from something like a keylock. I stretched my tendon in my arm even after tapping, doesnt feel good haha

  • @DrBrosie in the streets your rolling around on concrete glass, not to mention ppl can stomp your head in, shit aint fair on the streets and even though bjj is great and i train in it, its so risky to take in to ground in the street.. thats why i do stand up

  • @beauy1 if you get knocked out "in the streets" and hit your head on the curb... you could die. If you knock your opponent out and they die ... you could go to jail. Now.... if you take them down and choke them.... you may have some glass / cuts but otherwise...all good. you decide which is more risky.

  • @asinari11 yeah and the guy you took down could have 4 mates what are you gonna do when there booting into you, think about, i do bjj and KB, but on the streets i walk away mate, its to unpredictable and risky

  • @beauy1 then you quickly stand up and run away. You have no business starting fights anyway

  • @Whyyousuchadumbbutt

That's a dumb response. If you're gonna take down one opponent using BJJ, the 4 guys will just easily boot you. You'll be in so much pain that you can't "quickly stand up and run away."

  • @finecool1 You stand up before they get to you. Why would you take him down anyone? Unless it's 1V1 this stuff is kinda useless. Trust me though a wrestler could stand up in 2-5 secs.

A good one. Not a High school JV

  • @Whyyousuchadumbbutt

Oh, it's a misunderstanding. The BJJ practitioner said BJJ is not really reliable in a street fight, that's why he prefers striking. Then someone replied "striking will get you killed, while grappling won't." Then the BJJ practitioner says if there's more than 1 opponent, you're screwed. Then you replied to the BJJ practitioner saying "stand up & run away" which sounded dumb to me because in my head, the 4 guys are already there while you meant the 4 guys will "get to you."

  • @finecool1 Mix BJJ with something more forward like kick boxing or Kyokushin karate, then you can fight people standing up but if they manage to get you on the floor then you have good ground work. mix and match to get the best out of martial arts

  • @MrAnthraxis

If they get you on the floor, then your opponents' friends will just stomp and kick you. If you're about to get into a fight, the best answer is to run away. Street fights are too unpredictable

  • @nighthawke2 lol ohhh. well he's fuckn good.. his seminar was tight.

  • try to fight against a kyokushin fighter he will eat you like a hungry lion.

  • hahahahhahahahahahaha at 58 seconds

  • Na boua esse eporte é muito colado naum gosto muito mais mesmo asssim parabens pelo Video.

    MUAY THAI

  • *** correction, size not meaning fat but medium muscular frame with broad shoulders

  • I read somewhere that bjj isn't about size and strength but it seems to me that you'd have an incredible upper hand if you had size and strength as well as techniques. Is this true?? My best qualities is size and strength in grappling but if this isn't the case in bjj, i don't know if i'd want to do it??

  • @jennasophia16 size doesnt matter in a fight the stronger an bigger you r the easier it is to get ur muscles to cramp and bigger u r the harder you fall if your taller than me than the easier it is to lock your limbs up strength is good to have but u should try to build compact muscle to where you have the strength of a big person but you can move that strength fast

  • @MrSamyboi911, it's for the ref and judges to tell the difference between each fighter in competition.

  • my friend used to do this and lost alot of weight

  • romer***

  • roger vs homer!? sickkkk

  • why do some wear 2 belts? both a brown and a yellow/green?

  • ROGER GRACIE !!!!!!!!!! I LIKE

  • I'd so love to see takedowns and throws instead of pull-guards and tumbles : (. I can't help but want for bjj to add more stand up techniques : (

  • Would this be good in a real world situation? Like if someone wanted to fight you and you had no choice but to fight back? Or would them being able to punch/kick make these moves ineffective?

  • @obbma4ler22 Its the other way around, these moves make punching/kicking ineffective for someone untrained in ground fighting. Also its not like if there was a street fight the BJJ fighter would be limited to ground techiniques. A lot of dominant positions in BJJ are excellent for throwing punches.

  • @obbma4ler22 All fights start standing up, but BJJ is definitely an effective way of fighting if it goes to the ground. You just need to be mindful of the fact there are no rules, so you'll be exposed to groin strikes, eye gouges and biting. But that'll all stop if you can break one of their arms, or choke them out.

  • @F2Y man im so scared of the fact that all the people that practice bjj (me and others) can have that much power over someone in the ground

  • @obbma4ler22 No its exactly the opposite, as proven in the Gracie challenge and the early UFC striking arts were pretty much rendered useless by BJJ as soon as it hit the ground the BJJ practitioner was in his/her element and the striker had no chance and also striking on the gound against a skilled BJJ practitioner is a risk as it leaves your arms open for armbars...

  • lol i thought they were fighting but there squeezing each others dick why r they tapping tho? too much pressure on their penis?

  • /watch?v=QkQFXR9YrsY

  • he shoves the guy, thats not what this sport is about, thats a reason why he lost i suppose you could say

  • is there any money in competitive jiu jitsu? prizes? endorsements?

  • @LtakeOanotherVlookE yes, However to get the biggest money for competitions such as the brazilian nationals etc you have to be affliated to the IBJJF, but all competitions have a prize of money and medals/trophies.

  • shacka shnew!!!

  • i'm fighter of the bjj in brazil. i like very much this video they are my mirror of life.

  • To Migotojudo1 your an idiot how does it not determine life and death tell me what happens if someone does not let go of a choke huh what happens... Dumbass

  • @carlos3salas he/she said it does determine life or death... Dumbass

  • not to bag but jujutsu isnt a competative sport its suppose to be a martial art that determined life and death if you want a competative martial art it is judo because they made judo from jujutsu so it wont hurt people and thus it would be competative

  • lol! capoeira is more fun!

  • jiu jitsu luta de viado

  • No striking? Fuck this!

  • @PepsiPope sorry sir, but too state the obvious of differences, a punch can bruise your face and will go away in a week or so, in BJJ a broken arm, elbow, leg, dislocation of the shoulder, knee or eblow can cripple for a lifetime, I dislocated my knee in BJJ, and trust me when I say i would of prefered a punch to the face than a dislocated knee

  • why could'nt we watch the girl matches

  • gay shit

  • 0:52- how is that ironic?

  • Osama reenactment at 2:13

  • @RSA1RSA thast entirely your opinion and if you feel that way then okay. i just feel the women deserve a better in fight analysis. its a little disrespectful. and besides, who doesnt like watching a good female match ;)

  • do you punch and kick in jiu jitsu

  • taekwondo was invented to knock soldiers off horses, and would be followed up with weapons

  • @ 6:28, that's a woman!?

  • this is fighting or a sport? not an art. if you want to see real fight. look at taekwondo.

  • @halieccboo Troll. >.<

  • @Hoxedo i am troll when i state the facts? wait. i don't get it. idiot.

  • @halieccboo LOL. I took Tae-kwon-do from JK to Gr7, becoming black belt on the way, and it sucked. It's a bunch of vulnerable punches and kicks thrown at your opponent. BJJ, KFM, Krav Maga, Wing Chun are all superior to TKD, and this is coming from a previous TKD practitioner.

  • @OnlyJustUnknown vulnerable punches? keep your damn hands up and learn blocks, TKD is a mainly kicking art.

  • @halieccboo no offence but TKD is shite, what use are kicks when someone is standing right in your face you need to no how to punch, block and move & keep your hands up

  • @nowayjose231 i dont take any offense. i know kicks dont do much in street fights, we also learn punches. for example. i got in a fight just 2 days ago. some boy wants to cuss me out and get in my face. i punched him straight in the jaw. and when he was bending down and cringing. i axe kicked him in the back of the head.

  • Thumbs up if you stopped it at the womens BJJ.

  • damn look at his pants 0:49 !

  • @Finnznz sum1 4got 2 wipe

  • this aint how we fight at my jiu jitsu dojo

  • @2:25

  • Oh hey look everyone a highest rated comment has 4 thumbs up, and its replying to another comment. But we don't feel like finding the original comment. So thumbs up that damn comment!

  • What a bad looser 1:06

  • you don't show the women's division matches? You should.

  • roger is doing really welll.....

  • Roger is the freaking man.

  • love how they go through a detailed analysis for the male fighters. but for the females, just the result

  • @punisher00109 That's how it should be.

  • @punisher00109 WNBA 'nuff said...

  • @punisher00109 yeah nobody knows why they arent in teh kitchen

  • @boxerpop82 o my

  • @punisher00109 because the kitchen is a dangerous place to practice jiu-jitsu

  • @talonhobbs cOld!

  • @punisher00109 so?? it's better seeing a male fight. Better strikes, better technique, more fierce fights. No one is complaining about how female modelling is far more appreciated, why do we have to give special attention to something women don't do as good JUST because they're women??

  • @punisher00109 what the audience want, apparently

  • @punisher00109 Because for all them, they just have to go "Boobs, ass, legs."

  • @punisher00109 only details i want to hear about in a womens fight is if a titty pops out

  • @MrHamanio dude, get a fucking brain. Women's fighting deserves just as much respect as men's. Also, i happen to be a woman, and i can KICK YOUR ASS.

  • @punisher00109 get over it

  • @918Anon hush

  • @punisher00109 u mad
