@nohope112 no. the silvy/c1500 is i believe 6-8 inches wider. but it is wider. there was a guy that did a 1500 grill on an s10 and had to section and weld it so it would fit.

@kreigsmann how high is your idle? 180db is pretty unrealistic at around 800 rpm lol. 200db in the right engines? anything over 194 db would be a distorted pressure wave like an explosion, where as the positive pressure is greater than the vacuum. volcanoes and atomic blasts are theoretically over 200 dB, simply because it is IMPOSSIBLE to measure it closer than a few miles away... something is telling me an a-bomb is a little bit louder than your truck, not sure what it is though.

the thing about those radar detectors is there no good without a scrambler.

the cops have radar that can see you just as good as you can see them all they need to do is hit a tracking button and theyve got you.

well yeah i know they will still get my speed but he one i bought from what ive heard is on par with valintine and escort radar dectector and the can sniff out signals miles away WAYS away before the actual cop can get your speed. so its not about being invisble to police radar, is knowing when ones coming and having a good amount of time to slow the hell down lol

Because you have two different size blocks. Big and Small. Normally the larger displacement is a big block. But they figured what the hell lets make a small block 454 with 700+ HP. Its complicated.

the block size lol. big blocks can be bored out for larger displacement like 592 or larger, where as small blocks can only be bored to a certain size. you can do a 454 SB but the cylinders will be closer so you can really go much larger.

thanks, yes its an auto, i didn't notice any difference in MPG before and after cutting the muffler i get around 15 mpg. i cut the muffler out all together which was a flowmaster 40 series. went to Autozone and picked up some 2 1/4 pipe and ran it out the side like you see there. now im running it over the axle which sounds a little better IMO.
