You do have to keep in mind that when the genre is visual kei, it's as much about the image as it is about the music, so people are bound to complain if it's different from the "different" they have come to expect out of VK. Regardless I think they look interesting and the song is good. Music is more important, even if image figures into things. And the singer is pretty. Overweight? Hardly. A bit chubby, but come on. It's cute and works well for her.

Kyouko is a GODDESS and people who think she is ugly or fat are just shallow pricks who think music is only good if sung by people they want to sleep with.

Simple, that is why VK bands and the such with "pretty boys" are wildly popular but bands like Inugami with superior music skills will never be as popular or admired. Even though they deserve it.
