Yes it does. There are serious health related issues when you marry your cousin. From which generation are you from? In most cases the babies do not turn out okay. Either they are too short, or blind or have some sort of a health problem. If your (not you but in general) family has a health related history regarding marrying cousins then for sure there will be a problem. I consider my cousin to be my Sister. I can never imagine falling in love with her the way some people do.

I am married to a Bangladeshi, and I think that first cousins shouldn't marry each other. There are too many people out there to choose from. Truly, I cannot picture myself playing with my cousins as a child, to then grow up having sex with them. It would be like marrying your own sibling since they have the same blood as you in the first place. And by the way...what about autistic offspring.. I think it is more than disgusting, I think it is sad....
