Is your neck pickup set low on your low E side. These pickups have great round bass, but it seems not in your neck pickup. I really love this guitar though. I like to cheat up my low end a bit
Im not a huge fan of fenders but is there any way to make them sound really fat. I no that the hss strats have humbuckers but can you make a siongle coil pickup sound like a humbucker
Great playing,my friend!I have the 1960 Relic in Fiesta red. Can't beat it.I also have 59 Bassman Ltd,and Blues Jr. Tolex, and Tweed JensenBlues Jr..Needless to say,I am partial to Fender, although I do own a Gibson Les Paul Special TV yellow.Great guitar!Keep upthe good work ,dude!
how are you micin the guitar to the comp? i want to make some vids and put on youtube but i dont know to like my sound to the comp?? i want to use my amp .. any tips man?
just get a good cam, or get a recording piece, line 6 has some decent ones, then hook it up through your amp but I use garage band, so it may be a tit different.
For some reason, it looks as though you can move around more easily on the relic strat's neck than you can on the 62 RI strat, would you say this is true? If so, why do you think this is the case?
Iam a user of vanderbilly . com a free site for amateur, musicans to share video slow motion note for note lessons, and tips. Just loved you to teatch this great song there for us to learn. theres about 650 complet songs done by guitarist like you and me.If you dont whant to contribute with a song just use it...
theres a lot of page, hendrix, SRV, and many others. Thank.
I've looked through several videos of different strats and this one is by far my favorite (and you are by far my favorite player too). I'd like to see how my Mexican Strat would sound with CS60 pickups, but I can't seem to find them anywhere! Can someone point me in the right direction?
Purchased one of these CS Relic after years of swearing it's a gimmick. They are NOT. More vibe from this axe thru a '66 BFSR than any Strat I have ever played in my 47 years of playing. Still dont sound as seamless as your playing...keep on rockin for this generation!
Lol Angelorichetti has no idea what he's talking about. I'd ENCOURAGE playing familar tunes on a demo page, that way people will know how close it is to the original sound and can hear differences etc. Idyut.
The point isn't to show off his playing, you idiot. It's to show off the pickups - he's not demoing his talent.
Also, it's spelled "hear." Go back to school and learn how to spell and do deductive reasoning, then you can come back and taunt people over the internet as much as you'd like.
kassad! greetings from the US! hey man, stoppin by to say i dig all your vids. great playin all around! keep the blues alive brother. im jealous of your guitar! once i save up enough dough im gonna get your old axe, the 62 reissue :) but until then im jammin on Dolly Dagger and my Mr. Potato, haha. broke in college. stop by and check my vids sometime, theyre kinda sloppy, but thats what you get when youre playin buzzed with broken gear

say if you put those pick ups in a guitar that wasnt a strat like a PRS or les paul would you still get the same strat sound?

At $3000 or so, it had better sound freaking awesome. It also helps that the player is rediculous.
The None Custom Shop Strats are none too shabby though, I freaking love my American Deluxe Fat Strat.

The best one for 60s tones would be the CS69 pickups; they come on stock of the Classic Player 60s Strat. Which is nice.
