the mud might be a problem, lol, if there is room pack some vaseline in front of the bearings to stop anything from getting to them and when u wash ur car after ur run pack em again that stuff is cheap

do not drive it in water. gas engine is not waterproof it needs air. and if you drive it on the high rpm all the time your motor will die. its not a toy
