They talk about it on the commentary during that particular scene. Apparently was cut for being to silly.

But this movie had a horrible post production after they shot the film. Read the Crystal Lake Memories book for more info.
Dude, you're funny, but I actually like JGTH. It probably has the goriest death scenes in the series and ever since Part 4, that kinda became the point of the series. The only difference was the lack of Jason which people either love or hate. It doesn't bother me since the last 3 movies before this one were all the same with Jason slashing retarded teens. JGTH at least had a plotline to end the series. And Marcus indeed sux.

Dude umm that wasn't Jason talking in FvsJ. That was Freddy saying gimme a break because the big cart jammed. Jason never said a word except as a kid in the original and if you count the really stupid looking young Jason in part 8. Jason is just an angry retarted undead killer. In fact the guy who wrote the original didn't even see the movies after the first becaue he didn't like the idea of Jason being a bad guy rather than a victim avenged by his mother.
The movie should have been about him going to hell in the beginning and him getting out (I know Freddy brought him out in FvsJ but still). THAT might be slightly better I think. We'd know it would be stupid, but could have fun with it. Again though it would suck and it would be better to have dropped the idea altogether. It's Friday the 13th not The Exorcist. I knew it would suck when I watched it for the first (and only) time on T.V. I just hoped there would be SOMETHING that might work. But it just didn't. We knew what would happen cause of the title and should have stuck with just knowing. Yes we'd be curious, but still. I liked Freddy's Dead a little more, but that had the same problem. I guess it's just for money. Still it made the lowest amount out of the whole series.

Dude umm that wasn't Jason talking in FvsJ. That was Freddy saying gimme a break because the big cart jammed. Jason never said a word except as a kid in the original and if you count the really stupid looking young Jason in part 8. Jason is just an angry retarted undead killer. In fact the guy who wrote the original didn't even see the movies after the first becaue he didn't like the idea of Jason being a bad guy rather than a victim avenged by his mother.

The movie should have been about him going to hell in the beginning and him getting out (I know Freddy brought him out in FvsJ but still). THAT might be slightly better I think. We'd know it would be stupid, but could have fun with it. Again though it would suck and it would be better to have dropped the idea altogether. It's Friday the 13th not The Exorcist. I died a little inside from watching this movie. I know it isn't a great story to begin with, but c'mon!

I knew it would suck when I watched it for the first (and only) time on T.V. I just hoped there would be SOMETHING that might work. But it just didn't. We knew what would happen cause of the title and should have stuck with just knowing. Yes we'd be curious, but still. I liked Freddy's Dead a little more, but that had the same problem. I guess it's just for money. Still it made the lowest amount out of the whole series.
