  • @bobbertize the erhu is the instrument played by the 6 players in the front and the girl behind them is playing the guqin or guzheng. I cannot see how many strings are on it to tell for sure

  • Eer hu or 二胡

  • @bobbertize The front strings is er hu, the back instrument played by the girl is yang qin. I don't remember what the percussion instrument is called.

  • OMG I love There music it waz soo well played but it didn't sound asianish by 1:47

  • Does China have a tradition of music with deep sounding drums, like the Japanese style of drums? It would be cool to hear traditional Chinese instruments and music with that kind of drumming.

  • Man I love china, it is actually my favorite country on the other side of the world.

  • can you suggest me a band that experiments your classical music with heavy metal i want to hear it.

  • @jinglenene1000 I suppose you know the dynasty warriors saga. Lots of songs of these video games mix progressive metal with chinese music. I suggest you "welcome to china" (DW6) or "Eve" (DW4), it's really good. They also work on chinese music only like "she knows the way" (DW6)

  • Hopefully when China will be the world economic leader, we will have more of this honorable music in our home, and less of the gangsters and junk performed by whores like Britney Spears and Madonna.

    -ET

  • @DancingET You ignore the fact that China is run by gangsters.

  • @rothery86 ,

And you ignore that the US is run by Satanists and secret societies.

Do some research about the monetary system, and you will get the idea.

  • keeping traditions is so very important.

  • i got many chinese music ( high quality bit rate) ...come click me 2 :p

  • What is the music name ?? Great I love it :)

  • @CeSTeRiToS Horse race

  • The time heard chinese music in 1987 and I waitd till 2007 during my visit to china to find the music that had stirred my hear. Now I am rich with the collection built over the years and I compliment the players artiste with my herat to ever play and tune the music that takes my fancy into the other world.

  • do they have an equal erhus?

  • What do you mean, that all the erhus are in the same tuning?

  • @dbadagna yes

  • It sounds that way--I don't hear any Erquan erhus or zhonghus. This piece is usually just one melody so they're probably all playing the same part in the same register. It's just more "dazzling" with as many erhus as possible, all standing up to be "cooler" as we saw in the 2008 Olympics closing ceremony.

  • lovely!

  • im not chinese kr asian but i love this kind of music

  • its on sims 3

  • Is called the Sai Ma, in english is called the " Horse Racing"

  • i guess this song is well known, a japanese girl on my class who studied chinese traditional dance in china made a dance to this song.

  • I guess it is the piece of 万马奔腾?It sounds like thousands of horses are running over...

  • WTF? They're using our traditional Rebab.

  • actually, Chinese music was deeply influenced by Persians, Indians and Arabians.

  • no it wasnt

  • @Jin6107 拜托有点大国气度好不好?是学就学了~你又不是棒子国人

  • dont understand chinese writing

  • pretty amazing 4X as many views is what it should have

  • WOW THIS IS INCREDIBLE! such a fast tempo and everyone stayed together perfectly. DYNAMIC RANGE WAS INCREDIBLE! and the ending was so amazingly cathartic, equally insistent to be heard as many endings of string symphonies.

  • sound almost like irish music

  • NO it is NOT. There is a big difference between irish traditional music and chineese treditional music. Try to listen to irish first, and then compare.

  • Is Tianjin university different from Nankai?

  • Sure they are different although they are neighbours!

  • man i love japan china south korea basicly almost all asian countries becuse i mean this music for example this is their traditional music and in america ours is fucking hillbily music and its just anoying i love asia as a whole

  • what about copland?

  • @HeadMan12345 in a few hundred years, jazz music might be considered traditional American music. This nation doesn't have nearly as much history as most parts of the world. Unless of course you count native american history and they have some unique traditional music of their own.

  • It's crazy if you think of how much music has changed already in America. Jazz and blues which evolved into rock and roll. Which each generation has its own sound. Some examples are pop, punk, heavy metal, etc. Then you have hip hop, which has gone from old generic beats into the elaborate beats of today. Each section of the U.S. has its own sound, really; south, east, west, and midwest. Techno also deserves an honorable mention.

  • @HeadMan12345

and don't forget Rap "music", American music just wouldn't be complete without fuckin' rap "music", lol.

  • @HeadMan12345 You're a tard. I wrote a comment explaining in full you're tardness, but Youtube wasn't working. So, I'm just going to call you a tard. Good day, sir.

  • @HeadMan12345

    WTF hillbilly? XD

Where do you think the biggest genres came from? Jazz which turned into rock and hip hop, which turned into rap and metal, which turned into techno. All american.

  • @SyntaxOverride

jazz from black slaves brought from africa..... and u need to get your facts staight on how some of thos gerns came about hip hop turned into metal? lol

  • @HeadMan12345

You're so stupid. You say "in america ours" while you live in Japan? Yeah right

  • @SyntaxOverride

Im japanese born in america... but i live in tokyo now wow syntax

  • @SyntaxOverride

and where jazz came from?... africa.. yupz! that amazing people with rythim inside their blood.... n__n

  • @DesuZaGeru

and I know... my english sux.. sorry XD

  • @HeadMan12345

Why so? I also love asia so much. But do like to listen both American and European...

  • @HeadMan12345 whats wrong with hillbilly music ? If you took the time to listen and not judge you might see the similarities of the two.

  • @HeadMan12345 There's is hillbilly music too. Only 'eastern' country. :P

  • @unnamednewbie13 *theirs; I hate long nights

  • @HeadMan12345 not true! Traditional American music falls into a wide range of things because America is a mixing place of several different cultures so it can fall anywhere from folk to native american songs to jazz. I would consider the quintessential american traditional music to be delta blues though and like it or not all popular and western music today has blues lineage even ones you wouldn't expect to like techno. So American folk music isn't just hillbilly.

  • Comment removed

  • @HeadMan12345 Actually the only music that comes from America is jazz, that counts for something right?

  • @HeadMan12345 South Korea?! Are you serious?! Couldn't you say Korea?!

North Korea has culture too you know?! I am not Korean but i am offended by this comment! :/

  • Beautiful performance. Fabulous instruments and timing. 5*

  • does someone knows the name of thissong or some music like this??????
