actually it is a paint on chrome. it's not polished aluminum. most popular on motorcycle fairings that are plastic. they do this same process. No chrome dip. it's pretty much just brush on and buff. It can be done on for the most part, any surface. Even metal, and much cheaper than actual chrome dip.
