@gregplaysguita Last week I learned that there's some good fossil hunting near me- which I never knew before. There's even a town called "Fossil" that's not that far away, lol. But not much in the was of minerals. Some- There are some Opals ( I do have some very valuable local opals my grandpa found) in the eastern part of my state, but not much in my city. It's pretty much just volcanic rock, trees, and rain here :)
I only recently discovered your channel but I am honestly in love with it already. I adore every aspect of your videos, your voice is mesmerizing, I love all the rings you wear and I love that each video features interesting, individual and antique-like things. Great channel.
@soundandsleep I am so thrilled that you enjoy what I love to do! It's so great when someone can share their aestheic and have people say "yeah, great!" It makes me love making these even more.
Anyway, I'm so happy you found your way here, I hope you like the other vids I've made and will continute to make, and I hope you stick around for some time
You know....I can barely function after watching this one lol.....that was looovely :)))))))))) The beauty of the rocks...the gentle way that you have with your hands....the light sounds...perfect!
@SilentCitadel Not as pretty as your hands? Psshha! Its to late Esmarelda, I have already zeroed in on your inner hotness...haha we can sense your cuteness and there is nothing you can do about it! Plus I bet you have long hair? But maybe not because you are a momma...I kinda like the mystery surounding your apearance!
@Karenmizoscardog Nope! I've got short hair- I used to have long hair but it's such a huge pain in my ass. Also, I've been trying to grow out my black hair dye for ages and finally had the last of it cut off (it can't be removed or bleached, you have to grow it out!) and I'm back to my natural boring brown now. I've been dying my hair black since 7th grade so it's kinda weird to have it back to it's natural color- but I was starting to feel like such a... teenager wanna be? Anyway, short bob!
I watched this video last night before I went to sleep (so I could get to sleep easier) and I fell asleep to it! I woke up in the morning and my laptop had fallen on my floor! Luckily it didn't break. Good Video :)
By the way, I love it when you trace and scratch lines with your fingernail. Incredible tingling. Thanks again and I look forward to more Esmeralda masterpieces!
@KnowingNotDoing Huzzah! Yeah, I try to do a little of everything, so if you prefer silent vids, just keep your eyes peeled for "other sounds" or "tapping and scratching" . Neither of those will have whispering or soft speech :)
As always, you do an awesome job. I kind of missed your whispering explaining what minerals/crystals we were looking at, but I still really liked this video.
@kell909 Some people prefer the silent vids over the whisper vids, so I like to sort of do a little of everything to try and do my best to meet everyone's requests. But not to worry, more 'educational' whilspers to come- lol!!!
@HetaliaAxisPowersFan They are a high quality professional acrylic called Solar Nails. My real nails are about as frail as paper and do not grow well. Sorry :(
@luiscalcocer I'm not as pretty as my hands, lol- and not nearly as much of a looker as some of the other whisperers. I'm comfortable not showing my face, but if you ever get *really* curious, my old non-sounds & whispers channel is subscribed to this one, and also contains my name, Esmeralda :)
@SilentCitadel :) you are so kind for answering on my comments, pretty or not pretty, your videos, art work, hands, voice are just AWESOME. I admire you so much and by the way thank you for tanking the time to do this, it is actually REALLY therapeutic for some of us (subscribers). I´m your number one Mexican fan. Saludos desde México!
@keerrah I own a (small) house and have more room than an apartment or single room dweller to store stuff, though I do rent out my master bedroom to a nice couple :) .... and I'm good at tetris! lol!
What a neat collection. (- Amazing what the earth coughs up!) I always wanted to find stuff like this- especially a geode, but I don't know if they can be found in my area. I live in the Northeast near the ocean, where one can mine a completely different array of delicious found objects.
BTW, thanks for risking your beautiful manicure to make this presentation.
@9doves "...what the Earth coughs up" I love that. Lol. It's a very good description.
I'm on the west coast, but I did not mine any of these. The crystals *were* found by my grandfather, and the geode was found by an old coworker- but the rest I bought or was gifted.
As far as the manicure goes- I just got it fixed for this video- This is the only thing I really need my nails to look nice for! Lol! <3 thanks for watching!
@9doves I am also in the NE near the ocean - not sure about actual geodes, but I did some research in my state, and there are areas where you can go and find different things - often old or currently operating quarries, places like that, will allow you to come and do some digging, show you the best areas to look. And, there is a huge gem and rock shop near me, they have their selections broken down by area, and there are specimens from all over the east coast. So there must be places near you!
@Bhav341 Hi. I did some quick research on Google and discovered that geodes aren't from this area..(I do remember visiting an interesting rock shop in Bar Harbor, ME several years ago that had some really interesting stuff tho.) I may have to stick to shells, driftwood, and sea glass for now...
Thats a really nice collection! When you put certain rocks on the table, they made a really nice sound.I think the one yo showed with the greyish color, rough texture and looked like it came from a cave, had a really nice sound quality against the wood of the table. And of coarse the Geode..that was saving the best for last! I liked the closing sound as you put the peaces back together!
Love the crystals. Recently watched a program where they showed giant crystals that the scientists were walking on. Hard to imagine such a thing in the Earth. :)
@VioletOripeaux Oh yeah- I know what you're talking about- the giant crystal caves- it's the air in there is toxic and it's like 150 degrees of something crazy like that. That place is amazing, but a little frightening! It looks so alien.
@SilentCitadel is that the one where they had to wear something like Hazmat suits to go in, could only stay a short amount of time -? I love crystals, have a nice collection, but I have no desire to go into a cave, even a bigger size cave. I am very claustrophobic.
@Bhav341 Yeah it totally is- I want to say it's in Central or South America??? Maybe I'm wrong. hang on... Google. Yep- Mexico. It's called Cueva de los Cristales. I don't mind small spaces, but I do mind cripplingly hot, toxic ones. lol
i like the color of your nails it is relaxing
