That was superb. It felt so genuine. I almost felt voyeuristic watching you, because you were so lost within it.

I also felt that you understood the song the way I did, and you were able to translate the playfulness and the lust within it, and did so with such care and gentleness, I swear I almost melted. Some bands just cover away (eherm), but you — YOU! — gave it a whole new life.

Maybe it's just me, but I like this better than your second take.

heh, I don't. My thumb is usually all cramped up by the time I finish this song. If you listen towards the end I actually start using the same pattern he uses during "in a boys dream" rather than the verse pattern. That helps a little bit and if you listen closely you'll notice that Dave does that himself quite a bit. Probably for the same reason.
