you are a huge douche, everyone knows that a german company could never make a car as bad as a range rover... and why you would go do a review on it like you sound like a morno retard...
What? Painful? Bizarre. I have this vehicle and a Range Rover HSE and the GL rides much smoother and has better pick up. When I take a corner too quickly in the RR, it feels like it might tip but The GL is nice and tight and hugs the road. I prefer the look of the RR but for comfort and power I'll drive the GL!
Read the description this GL450 was traded in on a Range Rover because the people couldn't stand the GL450. It is not my GL450 but my dealership sold them the Range Rover.
i think range rovers are too easy to drive, the steering is too light. yes the steering on the mercedes is heavy, but its not painful, the only car that i have driven that my shoulders hurt after driving was a PT Cruiser that i got for a rental car from the Range Rover dealership, they could have atleast given me a freelander...geez, but both are great vehicles reguardless
Too painful the drive? Yeah right. My mom has one, you can't feel a thing when going over bumps, and can't hear anything on the outside of the car. As if a Range Rover would be better?
being a Mercedes-Benz fan though, i love the GL450. Compared to an Escalade and Lincoln Navigator it beats them. I hope your Land Rover work out though, they are very unreliable.
Land Rover was dead last in JP Power reliability ratings...so I'll hold my applause for anything from LR. We leased a 2007 GL450 last week and love everything about it.
nice review, be nice if you had someone work the camera for you rather a minute and a half dash footage, but good review, will be watching the others, thanks
While not in that class the LR3, which is a midsized SUV at only 190 inches long, trumps the GL in just about every category. More interior space better head and leg room, more cargo capacity, better seating arangement, more standard features for less money, real off road capblity, better air suspension etc.
1. On road handling at speed. as I said in the video the handling once I got up to speed on twisty roads was very good. I was impressed. The LR3 being much heavier and taller is not as well sorted on twisty roads. It is not bad but it is not as good as the GL was.
2. Interior on the GL is nicer overall then the LR3. A little too much plastic in the LR3 and the LR3 needs some factory wood trim choices.
what do you mean with the people couldnt stand it, are you a chauffeur?

haven't you problem with gear? I have an S class but I'll buy an audi A8 because that gear shift it's horrible.

whats so horrible about it?
johchino1 2 years ago
it's only automatic. the cars must have a real and fast manual selection. with automatic there is no control, no drive pleasure
eolovento 2 years ago
ohhh ok i get what u ment to say. i actually thought u ment it was horrible in the sence of unreliable with mechanical problems
johchino1 2 years ago

I'd bet this cat rides a toyota.
Mercedes-Benz is hated because they are the standard.

The Cadillac Escalade is garbage! It's pretty much a decked out Chevy Tahoe.

the LR3 has been very unreliable since ford is controlling most of the production though..
is that your GL or just test driving it?

continued from above
Only two things it does not beat the GL in are...
