i can understand his music cause i know the rythm this rythm of psappha is based on a traditional greeck dancing ruthm so that IT IS music it is not only sounds it based on a formal rythm

Well, I like it because I enjoy listening to it. Just that. I.m.h.o., it's a lovely work (and the discourse makes perfect sense to me). Now, should I correct my tastes or something? Discrediting anyone who might sincerely like this music - that's pretty egotist. By the way, I fail to see any objective criticism in your statements - just subjective repulsion.

This has no sense.
This is pathetic, seriously.
You cannot like this music unless you try to get attention from the world. There is some good principle in this music but there are also a lot of bad principle wich make the music strange.
@georgesman33 No, its quite likable, its just not as symmetric as classical stuff, but you can find emotion here. Maybe you should go listen to stockhausen's works, like zycklus for percussions, then come back here, and you will see this is not as difficult to like and enjoy...
Not that I don't like Schubert, but Schubert along with Mozart, Beethoven, etc. are good music, but it's overplayed! Open your mind and shut your mouth to other music!
Where do you stand in the great bullshit debate? What are your views about bullshit? Is it a significant social force? Is it an important element of modern society? Has bullshit developed in recent years? Is the quality of bullshit as high as in the 1990s? Or do you not have views? Do you need advice from a bullshit guidance expert?
Should bullshit become a way of life? Should the future of bullshit be regulated by government legislation, or by qualified independent consultants?
It's a big heavy for my taste. Yes, Xenakis is quite severe, but this piece has melodic lines that I would rather hear more lyrical as if to suggest forward momentum rather than each note independently.
Still, anyone who puts in the time to learn Psappha is a serious player. Nice work, Augusto.
Yes, but only the Schick/Red Fish Blue Fish performance. Is that a good one? It's hard for me to gauge because I love just about every Xenakis piece I hear!
the piece sounds its best when the tempos are not increased past the written marks. i.e. 152 at the start, which he seems to be close too. you can play it faster, but as you speed up the stress in the time will decrease and it will start to sound like wipeout. this happens in the mortensen.
great performance, but, to be honest - finale Schick plays a way more interesting, passionate than Moralez (IMHO). Thanks for posting!

performance so-so, but this music has sense and feeling. Man, you'd better listen to Britney. Her music has no bad principles.

My only criticism is that you should increase the tempo a bit and play it like Carneiro/Schick/Mortensen.

Mortensens version is sick :)
