  • it looks like the most un natural vivarium... its weak shit

  • wow.

  • How does your fogger work?

  • Must be a pain to clean.

  • @McDeop not really. I don't have a lot of work with that

  • i think i am doing the same setup as you,i think i have the chance to do that on Christmas, because my mom is probaly getting that cage,my grandma probaly got me a exo terra water fall and a big stick, and a chance for a couple plants

  • @MrReptile7777 good luck

  • cool dude

  • I was wondering if anyone knows if these plants are safe to use for crested gecko's? I knw the bromeliads are, x3 i dont know much about the others.

  • Nicely done. Really want to get another vivarium going sometime. What species of plants are you using?

  • @oliverholmberg1 My plants are the bad thing in my terrarium because I don't use a really special plants but i have some bromelias, bamboo, moss and others..

All that you can find in a normal store for plants.

  • what light do you use?

  • @wendigolycan reptil glo 2.0 and reptil glo 5.0

  • @wendigolycan Thank you for the reply but what wattage,if you don't mind? is the 26 watt one bright enough for a 80 cm tall vivarium so the light would hit the bottom at a decent level?

  • @wendigolycan on this video i had two lamps 2.0 and one lamp 5.0 both 26 watt. terrarium is tall 60 cm and i also have very high substrate so the light was enough. More latter i add two neon T5 (24 watt) and terrarium was really strongly illuminated, for plants was good plants.. but i had a little problems with humidity and fresh air

  • @eliszorn Thank you! You could use a computer ventilator connected to a phone charger. I would love to see how the plants evolved since 2010..

  • @wendigolycan yes I use a computer ventilator connected to a phone charger, its necessary

  • You need to get a frog, like 5 tiney ones

  • wow... just, wow...

  • Freakishly nice!

  • hey. amazing terrarium! im setting up my first one at the moment and wondering how you separate the substrate and the water?? any help would be appreciated :)

  • i cant figure out how you make the side island things for the plants.... sorry my mental thesaurus isnt good. how did you make it?

  • Very nice setup, one of the best. Where did you get the plants? I want to use live plants in my terrarium. Can u buy plants from places like home depot or lowes or a flower shop?

  • @livetoride4201 you can search for plants every where but be careful.. don't buy plants which one are getting too big and plants must support high humidity

  • @livetoride4201 No you can buy plants at A FLOWER SHOP omg are you for real lol

    Nice tank

  • what kind of plants did you use? if you can tell me that would be great

  • @r1234x67p i use some Bromeliads and ficus and others, you must to search plants which one can support high humidity

  • how is it possible that water and earth do not mix, why the banks do not collapse in water. (ps: Sorry for the spelling) , I'm french ! ^^

  • @lotoine because that is a special earth for terrariums and will never collapse in water

  • @eliszorn okay merci :)

  • @eliszorn PLEASE TELL ME! WHAT IS IT CALLED?

  • @eliszorn whats it called I'm looking everywhere?

  • thanks for the tutorial! it's stupendous

  • @goddessofdivinity thanx :)

  • like it its great :)

  • I cant seem to find the like one million times button...

  • incredible! this terrarium is one of the best iv seen. Thumbs up for live plants.

  • @reptilecreation thank you

  • omg that msut of tooken a while thumbs up !

  • What are the brown poles called at 0:10 ?

  • @EternalBeauty14 that's called xaxim and its good for make background

  • What are the brown poles at 0:10 ?

  • what do you keep in there?

  • @jizzinmypants500 Phelsuma ornata

  • @eliszorn sweat i love day geckos Phelsuma ornata are the giants am i correct?

  • @jizzinmypants500 they can grow up till 12 cm, they are pretty small daily geckos

  • @eliszorn i know you can get a dwarf size which is even tinier but next imposable to handle

  • @jizzinmypants500 its not impossible to handle but its hard because they are shy

  • @eliszorn shy and really faaaaaaaaaaaast lol

  • Do you ever have to clean these(sorry if it's a dumb question)

  • @ProPorchMonkey yes I do but i clean glass only. I dont have alot of work with cleaning :)

  • Very nice Terra, only Orchideen or also Carnivoren?

    Is there a "smoke-Generator" in?

    MfG BulfOv

  • @BulfOv i dont have Carnivoren plants any more. yes i have a fogger

  • I've played back this video several times trying to understand your water feature thing. I get using the tub with the holes in it. But I don't understand why there are two hoses in it. One is for the top of the pump to pump the water up but why is one needed for the in take part of it? I want to learn how to make a water feature and I'm still confused about how to make it. And how can you clean your hoses if one goes through the back ground like that? Thanks for sharing.

  • Hey that's pretty awesome

  • awesome setup what do you keep in it

  • @evanb430 now i have Phelsuma ornata

  • this must take 17 and 3/4 hours to clean.

  • @ThatReptileDude what do you mean?

  • @ThatReptileDude what that exact time? lol

  • I really like what you did with the fogger and the pump. very naturalistic

  • @BDdragonkeeper thank you

  • lol people, stop using those silly bamboo plants from the pet store. they take away the naturalistic look from your tanks, other than that awesome vivarium, like what you did with the pumps and rock.

  • @IiveIife bamboo plants are nice for reptiles.. but now i dont have bamboo any more maybe i need to do a new video

  • @eliszorn i think he means that the curvy ones dont look natural. i personally think bamboo is a great addition to any vivarium.... as long as it isnt the shape of a curly straw.

  • @TheNeonTide now i dont have bamboo any more. Maybe i need to do a new video

  • what are those rectangular things you used on the background? i really want them, and where did you get peat so compact like that

  • @BrandonShaneRolko that thing is called xaxim.

for peat and xaxim i think u must to check in special shops for terrarium

  • Comment removed

  • he i was wondering what u used for the fog. i know u have it setup outside of the terrarium and have a tube flowing into that rock, is it just a rock with holes in it? plz reply

  • @oreowithmilk1 for fhe fog i use elta lb110

that is not a rock but a peat

my peat is really compact and thats why water is still clean

  • Comment removed

  • \@eliszorn you use a room humidifier? huh... hey if u could sometime you should really put up a tutorial video on how u make ur terrariums because ive been researching alot because i want to get into making paludariums and such but there isnt any real solid information on how to make them. idk what substrate to use or how to put moss on top or how to drain the soil.. just really confused thats all :/

  • how long did it take you to do all that?its beautiful!

  • @Reptiles4723 thanx, maybe 1 monts, but if you have one precise idea you can do it faster

  • The bamboo ruins it

  • @Hairynewtstudios I know I will make some changes

  • what is the thing that the fog is coming out of and what did you use to seperate the dirt from the water with also what type of fern is that in front of the plant with the pink flower in the right side of the tank also what type of fogger did you use please message me back o and what type of plant is that when you stop the vid a 3:18 btw cool terraium 5 stars awesome tank very inspiring

  • @iEATGECKOS4BR3AKFAST i have fogger outside of my terrarium but colegate with tube, i dont have nothing to separate water from my substat, i dotn know what type of fern is that becouse i found some plants in the forrest

  • where u get the bamboo trees?

  • @darkstar111100 in a florist's shop

  • omg beautiful!!! get some nice tree frogs for that!!

  • @dave8594 thanx

  • really, you should do some research, and find a sutible reptile for that. it will make him happy, and will love you for ever, because that is the most beautiful terrarium i have ever seen in my life. Your REALLY inspiring

  • @smalls2426 thanx

  • @sniper4life01 thank you

  • Great setup! Nice fog, great planting, it has a natural 'flow'!

  • @Terhae thanx alot

  • Wow, that's an amazing paludarium! What do you keep in it?

  • @FullTimeExperts thank you, for moment my paludarium is empty. i am still looking for gecko

  • absolutely beautiful! u deserve a medal!

  • @agro2much4me :) oh thanx alot

  • @eliszorn no problem, caus its true, i was too thinking of setting up a terrarium like yours, because in my country its difficult to find good healthy animals, i'll most probably do it after exams,

thxs 4 giving me my inspiration! any tips for a beginner? i kno u dont want animals but maybe a few small fish might be interresting,

  • @agro2much4me I am looking for small geckos. I have just a few litters of water, its too small for fish and water is not in good quality

  • I was wondering how do u get moss to grow sooo well??? I Need to know please... I have tried the Frog moss from the store But it never grows back and when it dose it is so dark it blends in with the substrate! I have a crested gecko, and whites or possible tomato frogs soon to be, so If you could please reply and tell me how to get it to grow well soon, That would be fantastic! BTW. Awesome terrarium!

  • @pangboy12withl4d on the basement i have a moss but i dont know the name becouse i found that in the forest.

you can try with java moss, its easy growing moss. you acn find it in aquarium shop. but you need to keep verry humidity your substrate and not high temperature.

but if you have crasted gecko im not sure he will like high humidity

  • Whats the name of the substrat you used??

  • @DerLachendeGott I think that is called "peat" or "peat in piece"

  • are live plants hard to take care of in the tank?

  • @Hedgehogs24 depend in what plants you have inside but i think they are not hard to take care

  • wow!! thats stunning!!

do you keep any animals in there?

if you used websites, can you please message me some links where you got the plants and everything else!!

    coz that really is stunning!!

  • @jellyreptiles thanx

no for now i dont have any animal inside.

i didnt used websites, I found all in my small country

  • Very cool man

  • @mrenoc1 thanx

  • whats the stuff you used for the background called? its way cooler than an exo terra background.

  • @wolfmancry101 for background i use dicksonia sticks. its a verry good material for terrarium

  • so cool i have never seen tank like that cool realy cool do you know how much would that tank cost?

  • @gulmoktar my terrarium cost about 600€

but becouse of discount on some articles i spent only 440€ for now

  • Hm, I've never seen any of them for sale but I haven't exactly been looking either. You could try googling for them or look on Kingsnake . com classifieds. LLLReptile . com also has different species of geckos from time to time. You could also try joining a reptile forum and seeing if anyone knows where to find them. Another really great looking gecko species are Lygodactylus williamsi, electric blue geckos.

  • that is your work , is really nice ...i see u good ,kiss
