This doco is atmospheric as hell, I'll say that much for it. YOu ask me, a Mafia-CIA plot is the only one that makes sense, and the only one that really has anything approaching proof attached to it. A lot of things buffs wave about as evidence is rubbish, though. The actual plot was a simple Mob hit, in essence...the real chcanery started afterwards, as the links to Cuba were screaming like sirens and people not in on the plot now had no choice but to cover it all up.

I think what disturbs some people about this film is that it doesn't have a narrator telling you what to think. It just lays out the documentary footage in chronological order and lets you make up your own mind.

awfultin this is really great archival footage and construction. You have put together a very convincing case for complicity just by crafting this unique look at the confusion of that day and time. I have never seen anything quite like this as the content speaks for itself. This material can and never will be available for licensed distribution. Alex, I would have to agree with you. I grew up in Chicago, and it was quite common to say colored. It was more accepted and later replaced with "blacks". We only heard the term 'negro' on tv like this. It was not comfortable to say "negro" as it seemed too close to saying the bad "N" word, And those that said "negro" made it sound demeaning. Chicago even had their 'north' and 'south' side divisions, but it was no where near as racey as the southern states. But that is my experience.

That's what many African-Americans called themselves at that time. As you know what is socially acceptable, changes every few decades or so,.
