  • From South Africa - well done !!! - that was great - I just wish this music was more freely available in my country. I hope we see and hear more of you

  • @joeinpe Thanks for your comment. Zach Onaga(slackkey808) and Fran Guidry are my friend. We met in Hawaii and play together. We all took lessons of slack key master Ozzie Kotani. Danny Carvalho is one of the best student of Ozzie. I hope I go to South Africa some day. That is my dream.

  • You have nice guitar!

  • I've already sold it. I kind of miss that guitar.

    Thanks for watching:-)

  • What strings are you using on this guitar? If its elixirs, is it Nanoweb Phorphos Bronze or? And what string gauges are u using?

  • It's Elixir Bronze Polyweb Light. So many effects added though. Like chorus, delay and so on. Thanks for watching.

  • A very good and solid rendition of this song. You did a fine job. Your bass is spot on and your melody is sweet and nice.

  • I agree with Uncle Duke (sirduke58), you are underestimating yourself because if this is your first song you learned, it's very good by any standard. Keep it up.

  • Thank you! Your comment motivates me to do another one. I have learned a lot from your playing on youtube before I shot this video.

  • Thanks for your comment.

I like your slack key playing.

  • Wow that's pretty damn good.Good execution despite your disclaimer. You really captured the "Ledward" in this song.A rarity anywhere & especially outside of Hawaii. What kind of ties do you have to Hawaii?Nice rendition, looking forward to more.

  • Not special tie with Hawaii but I once visited Oahu and that was great experience. I felt something from Great Nature. Nothing could encourage me more than a message from Hawaii. Thanks!
