I was looking at land at terlingua. Is it a good place to go to get away from it all?

Is there an available water source?

How are the locals, if there is any?

And is there anything or anywhere to shoot?

I just wanted to ask someone who's been there before I look into buying.

I beer tended at Le Kiva in the early 80's (w/aunt Gilly).  Only things there were Kiva, Uncle Joe's, and Study Butte Store.

Brin??? Girls ran the camground and Gil Felts owned Le Kiva. I was the skinny white boy from OH that came to the region to find himself. I don't remember many names - Van, Amos and hos dog Fred (Fred usually arrived at the bar shortly after Amos).

Terlingua was probably the calmest time I've ever had. Great couple of years!!! Thanks for the vid. Greg
