George told me last month 8/2010 that Depp wants to make another movie like Blow called American snow if I remember correctly. I haven't heard anything about it other then from George. He talks about Depp all the time and speaks so highly of him. George will be out in 2014 & he'll be 72. We'll be at the prison to great him that day.

You can always tell when these daft Hollywood actors are parroting/reciting what the directors told them to say about the movie, and the other times when they actually have to say something in their own words.
@FedorEight I think it's likely that directors, script writers, actors etc probably discuss characterisation and film context amongst themselves, prior to filming, so that the actors have sufficient understanding and empathy to portray characters in a convincing manner on screen. Therefore, I don't really think it's entirely fair to say that actors are merely 'parroting' the director's views, as a good actor (such as Johnny Depp) will have done plenty of research for his role.
I love Johnny Depp, not just his looks, but everything he does in his career. This movie made such an impact on my life. I NEVER cry during movies, EVER. But the ending to this movie put me into full on tears <3 extraordinary man.

It is so weird when you have one point that your comferterable at and another your not. I can tell he is so comferterable on the stage behind the camera and he is uncomferterable kinda slow in a crowd or an interview. I feel the same way when I do singing performances I feel comferterable on stage and shy off stage! It's weird!
Funny how he's said he's not "particularly articulate", but the way he speaks he still manages to engage you into whatever he is saying; and it's not because he's Johnny Depp the celebrity, or because he's gorgeous, it's because he's the kind of guy that really 'thinks' before he speaks. I can't help but feel his looks are what gave him a job until 1990 when he met Tim Burton and now he is acknowledged (rightfully) as one of the best actors to have ever lived. Burton showed everyone that Depp could do ugly... and do it beautifully.

@unclearless dont worry. some of us do notice that besides his looks. he can change into ANY chaarcter and succeed and work with nothing, out of thin air and produce the likes of jack sparrow, edward scissorhands, and the mad hatter. he is one of the best if not THE best actor of his generation. not to mention the fact he's lasted for so long doing non-blockbuster films with a few exceptions by not conforming to the hollywood mold. thats what i admire about him most.

@unclearless you know, im an 18 year old straight young woman, and while i dont think he's bad looking, what i truly admire is his acting and the attitude he seems to have. nice i'm not the only one!

@unclearless i agree with you. im a 26 year old woman an i can honestly say that he has all the ability and skill to continue to be the one of the greatest most respectable actors of all time set aside his looks. he is a remarkable creature overall. these women who are astonished by his appearance are missing out on what's most important and that's their lost,...

@unclearless i am a 16 year old girl and i completely agree with u! he is the most talkented actor of his generation and maybe evn ever. he is so straight forward like what u see is what u get and no the "cookie cutter" crap people look for and one of the most humble and kindered spirits i have ever seen. but it doesnt hurt to love his outter beauty and grace.

@unclearless No one’s going to deny that he’s good looking, but it gets old even for me and I’m occasionally one of the people who go on about it. For me personally though, it’s just another way of saying genius. He’s so damn hott BECAUSE he’s incredibly talented, intuitive, and interesting. He has a sparkle. It’s rare and so amazing when you find it. He inspires me immensely. He’s my favorite. :) He has creativity and energy and it’s fun to watch that. Also he’s easy on the eyes.

@unclearless The only thing lonely about Johnny Depp is the fact that he sits alone above all other actors in hollywood. He truly knows how to capture every single detail and imaginaion in his roles. but hell, i'm a 25 year old straight male ... and i think this guy is crazy good looking! i don't think it's too bad of a thing to say that

I can't help but feel his looks are what gave him a job until 1990 when he met Tim Burton and now he is acknowledged (rightfully) as one of the best actors to have ever lived. Burton showed everyone that Depp could do ugly... and do it beautifully.
On another note, it's great to hear JD quoting Subterranean Homesick Blues.

He was very hot in Blow. There was this scene where he first met Penelope and he gives her this head to toe look that could make any girl melt, I was glued to the TV watching it. I've never seen an actor that gives one of his best performances ever and manages to be sexy as hell at the same time.
