What type of carburator do you have? A friend of mine just picked up a '68 Cougar and it needs a new carb. BTW your car sounds awesome

It idles at 800rpm now, little bit of rumpityrump.
Amazingly, that idle way back then only had one idle adjustment screw in the carb!

that idle is at like 1,300RPM!!!
you do know that you can adjust the idle right!
Because it sounds terrible like that!
