no, I owned halo 1, grunts dive away from a grenade, and some don't respond quickly enough. Halo 1 ai would strafe if their being shot at, and if you hide or take cover they would try to rush you.

Either they stop to reload or just camp and shoot at you, or throw a grenade to pull you out and shoot at you, or even to run towards you and shoot at you. The AI in Killzone 2 is advanced

Guys, i want you to be honest. I mean, no fucking lying due to excessive fanboyism. LOL. But anyways, ive been a Sony/PS fan for a long time. They always win their wars. Im definitely getting this game, but doesn't the AI look kinda stupid? I mean, i've seen some gameplay videos, and the helghast dont know how to react to knives. Also, they can be really "blind" sometimes, when it comes to going in front of them. One guy who was playing went in front of one, and the enemy didnt react at all.

I've played through the demo about 6 times now and each time i notice how the AI insist on ducking behind the parts of cover that i haven't blown apart yet. As i shoot off the upper parts, they actually end up lying down just to avoid getting shot. Watch some videos on youtube of matches vs bots and maybe you will change your mind. Even on easy, the bots seem to be very smart and strong.

Okay, i think i understand what youre saying. But if you go on Games Radar, and see the review, the helghast do not know how to react to getting knifed. You could pass the first level with just kniving. Thats sad...

Maybe just... on the easiest difficulty perhaps. I think it depends how many of them are clustered. In the demo it's not always easy to go on a knifing spree when there's more than two. I will have another go on the demo tomorrow and see if i can complete it only using a knife (apart from destroying the bridge) and get back to you. Do you have the demo?

i had to make a uk account cause i didnt reserve it.but i think after playing the demo the game is pretty dang good.give it about 9.7 maybe a 9.8 out of 10.i like how the environment reacts to you like when u shoot steel sparks fly and u see the heat from the bullet hole and etc.

graphics/visuals looks pretty damn good better than most fps out there today.

the AI of the computer is like actually fighting in a war there so damn smart and know exactly what to do in any situations.

Zipper interactive gave up there beloved socom just to work on this one, and they have been working on the game for sometime now. They are very respected when it comes to multiplayer shooters so I belive they will do something great if not epic.
