I have Opera 11 now. I had Opera 10 but I have to say that I had very bad experience with it. Opera 10 was the worst opera browser of all versions. It was slow,weak,unstable,it kept freezing. It kept doing all kinds of stupid things. I couldn't even use the facebook phrases on opera 10 - a lot of modules were missing.

Can Opera 10 zoom and increase text and image size on more than one web page at a time like I.E. 8 does? Or do you have to resize every page each time you view a web page.

Opera is the fastest browser,that know whole World, chrome and mozilla have no such a options with these menus!!!I love these notes where I can write everything that I need to download....When I was on IE,i was having to open separated text files to write link for DL!!!!OMG where the hell is Opera then?!XD This browser kicks ass!!! Only bad thing is... it is not popular yet,but...We can never know....

i used to like opera even with opera10 i would start to notice little things like if id try to double click it would highlight it instead and a few other little annoyances that turned me toward chrome and firefox...

I have errors in my opera browser,youtube is not playing a video,its telling me to install adobe flash but i have it installed already,and when I download torrent ,it is not loading anymore,I have reinstalled it several times and it still the same so im using firefox instead..

@Jed9133 Hi. its possible that Opera turbo is enabled. Switch it off, perhaps that may help. I had a similar prob but turning turbo off solved it.

I really want to love Opera10, but there are some quirks that made me drop it again. On some websites, most prominently here on YouTube, Opera can't finish loading all elements for a page and is stuck at just one element off. On YouTube it happens for me on partner videos that display overlay ads. I've read the forums and it seems that issue has been around for one or two years now without having been fully resolved yet. I hope in the future it will be, as I'd like to give Opera a go again then.

i was a firefox for a long time,but Safari 4 and Opera 10.01are now much better than firefox.

@todegriks i just uninstalled firefox, its a fucking peice of shit and gave me the spysoft antispyware (which is actually spyware itself) i had to go into safe mode and fuck around with command prompt to get rid of that crap. sad too that i got it from a site which opera handles just fine. lol i just upgraded from opera 9.2 or was it 9.5 to the newest 10.5, its been a loong time since i updated, about since 2008 haha

I had been using Opera for many years but I switched to Chrome as it was much faster than Opera 9. However Opera 10 seems just as fast as Chrome even without turbo mode, so I'm gonna stick with it.

Great idea to hide the menu bar to gain a little more space (IE8 does the same with a right click)

You forgot though, to say how (easy it is,) to put that menu back.

Opera is very neat, very fast. I specially enjoy the fact that it memorises and reopens all my last session's tabs, with a different zoom factor for each, exactly as they were previously when I quit. Zooming in/out is simple with just +/- .

Where do you want to drag images? You can mouse drag it to URL bar, tab bar, even status bar if you hold Shift. If you want to save image: right click - Save image. :)

I am using pics I uploaded to myspace on my ebay auctions. I want to drag the pic from myspace to the auction it belongs to on ebay. What purpose does it serve in the URL?. Also will not let me go to my youtube channel on Opera. Just keeps asking me to sign in over and over and over. I have gone back to Firefox. Even though Opera is faster it has its drawbacks just like any other browsers. Ta

Firefox has the most known vulnerabilities. Opera does not.

Firefox has a lot of toolkits to exploit vulnerabilities in it. Opera, having low market share, does not (the lower the market share is, the less internet criminals are gonna care about it)

It depends on what you're talking about. For security, I'd go with Opera, as that has the least toolkits to exploit vulnerabilities in it, but for add-ons and being completely open source I'd go with Firefox.

But for me, I'd go with Opera.

Why does Opera 10 freezes almost every time for about 20 seconds when I try to use Speed dial? Is it because I use Windows Vista maybe? I would appreciate the answer.

It's really stable on my system. Even desktopteam weekly builds were unusually stable. I don't think Opera is the problem--I'm guessing it's a Windows thing (though it's not Vista-specific). Look at your CPU usage when Opera freezes. See if a process is spiking your CPU. Try restarting your system, deleting the files in your %TEMP% directory. If you had a previous installation of Opera, try completely uninstalling Opera (Delete the profile directory, too) and reinstalling. Good luck.

You don't get it. Court ordered Ms to include other browsers in Windows because of monopoly of IE. Opera Software company only raised the voiced about it. We should be happy someone did.

Mouse Gestures, and being able to go through tabs with 1 and 2 are my favorite features. sure, theres probably firefox plugins that do the same, but opera is such a smooth browser, firefox feels clunky.
