A great friend of my son was killed in Afghanistan last week (Lewis Hendry) We wish he was comeing home.

We have someone there now. They shouldn't be there. Everytime you hear of a para dying... when they say 'the family has been informed' I know it's not us.

It's took a fungus and flooding on the pakistan border to ruin the afghan national product that has brought such misery & tears to a lot of our lives. The govt.s couldn't do it nor the british army.

I hope the family don't think he died for nothing, though I think that will be the judgement in the history books.
