  • You may also want to try a more rigid holster. I know there are all the safariland and blackhawk guys out there, but I recommend Don Hume if you are interested in a good leather piece with a steel belt clip!

  • someone is going to steal your camera if you keep running away. remember you are in flint. lol

  • i made a sling from buckles and lashings from the outdoor department in walmart for under 4.00 dollars vid comming soon great v

    id tho dem

  • RUN FOREST RUN.

    Sorry dem , I couldn't resist.

  • go with a inside the pants holster. you ll get used to it!

  • Nice furniture... ;) Now learn how to use it. If want some literature on the subject that can help. Let me know and I'll email you a bunch of books in PDF form.

  • Brother wear it lower not as high, you want your trigger arm slightly bent, and when you want to employ it the trigger arm should just be able to push down to bring it up to firing position. you should have it 1/2 as high as you do, be blessed

    vito

  • With all do respect brother for a large guy you my brother are a very fast man,,,,If I didnt have a disability I would be there with ya, God Bless

    SiP

  • Thats wassup .. so when are u gonna start shooting people.. when the economy collapses and people break into your house trying to steal your food and water?? lol.. ..

  • run Forrest....run

  • I wish we had open carry in Soviet New york.

  • Forrest Gump approves 5.11 belt :))

  • I am impressed you can haul for a big guy, lol. 9.11 tactical has good stuff. Blackhawk Also. You might want to invest in a better holster, maybe leather IWB or something. Just a suggestion old boy eh.

  • The best concealment holsters are the leather pancack types. They stick very tight to your body and they stay rigid and hard for a long time. Even though they are stiff (so there won't be any slack), they eventualy mold to your body. Lots of cops use them because they stay very concealed, the IWB holsters are uncomfortable. My 2 cents.

  • I may have to get me a sling for my Hi-point .40 carbine but for my S&W .40 I like the Fobus paddle holster. it works great for open carry, but would be harder to conceal without a jacket or a shirt that is 4 sizes too big.

  • I myself do not plan on running.

  • Looks good

  • Since I got my CCW license, I've been carrying using a Bianchi IWB holster. Most of my pants are a little big in the waste so, it's comfortable.

  • Its good to see that your staying in shape.

  • you move fast for a big guy

  • Have you noticed that the trauma/wound bandage is almost the same exact size as a woman's feminine sanitary napkin and probably uses nearly identical absorbant materials I would guess. I have always said, that in a WROL situation, a very large supply of Feminine Napkins could be used for double duty and would save a lot of precious $

  • @JagdtygerII The British army issued tampons to soldiers in Northern Ireland to treat bullet wounds. Swells fast and stems blood flow. Hope you never need to use this, but now you know.

  • 5.11 is a good brand, you oughta try their hiking boots, I've had a pair I've worn most days and they are virtually indestructable. Held up for probably seven years and the soles have little wear, no holes whatsoever, and they still are in great condition although somewhat dirty looking. PS I like the tactical belt currently being by Aimsurplus although maybe not the best choice for concealed carry. Great buy at $13 for a Padded MOLLE Gear Belt, especially when some competitors charge $80+ bucks

  • Like your videos brother, but a gun with no round in the chamber is as useful as a car with no gas. Keep up the good vids!!

  • I like the running part! LOL... good stuff man!

  • the face of a killer...

  • Nice Man I'm surprised that it never came lose after all that

  • You will find that it is the Stiffness of the belt (Hard Thick Leather) that supports the holster properly. Remember that the stiffer the belt...the less tight around your waist it has to be. No easily flexed belt material will give you all day comfort. You shouldn't be able to deflect the material width of the belt without GREAT effort. I have tried them all and concrete hard leather does the job the best.

  • go regi go... you have the makings of a superhero!

  • DEMCAD is prepared for war. What war? I have no idea. But he's prepared for it.

  • @DEMCAD check out the echo 93 ak sling attachment its on the military arms channel ( @Sturmgewehre )

  • Eww Michigan Uni....

  • @xkleachx 30x better than lansing garbage.

  • Hey Demcad, what size is your waist? ... I'm a big man also and I need a belt to put around this huge waistline LOL! I was wondering if it would fit me? What the largest size they come in?

  • @TheHeartOfTheLion I got the 4X and had plenty of room. I think it's 48 inches. This belt at 4x can cover 52 inches easily.

  • @DEMCAD thanks alot.

  • I'm thinking if you're walking around with a gun that your perception of the people around you will shift from being random people on the street to possible attackers.

  • Demcad nice video! I hope you'll be making a video about bodyarmor because people shoot back. I got mine a mounth ago and now waiting for my helmet, neck and groin armor, just under $650 from Galls and Bodyarmor Outlet. I don't want to worry about wound dressing if I can do something to prevent them, although I'm skilled in dressing, I would be foolish not to prevent them and body armor is the way!

  • @SilverCitySlicker500 Good point! I don't hear anyone mentioning body armor, I think its another item thats key to survival.

  • @D33Lux Body armor would make me even slower.

  • @D33Lux Yes I hate to say it but just about everyone on youtube talks about all the fancy tactical gear which is not practical in a WROL or SHTF scenario. My money is spent on AMMO and magazines, and I keep purchasing it because it's so cheap from AIMSURPLUS (9mm, .223, .380 and 12g), you can't get enough of this stuff. It's about quick access to reserve ammo, and body armor to help you outlast the other person. A .22 lr will take you out or disable you from continue, this is why ARMOR is KEY!

  • @D33Lux Also when you're living in a rural area where everyone has an AR15 (unlike Washington DC), bodyarmor, with a LEVEL III rifle plate is key. I would not own a .233 and up rifle without having head neck and body protection as well, it just seems logical because people shoot back! I have an advantage with my armor in DC because I know the common caliber that's use to assaul Law Enforment in DC so I need to protect myself against those rds. Everyone should know whats common in their areas!

  • @SilverCitySlicker500 Excellent advice!

I agree with having a level lll with plates. I have a level llA and a level ll the most widely used caliber of handgun in Canada is ..22 .38 & .40, .45 (but not so common as .40cal) when it comes to rifle rounds pretty much everything is available. would like to buy a level lll with plates next when I get some cash. Where could one buy the neck protection, I've seen the Kevlar helmets those are available.

  • @D33Lux You can get the neck, knee, shin, forearm, elbow etc. from GALLS.

  • Nine(and counting) American Cities That Are Going Broke (excluding the states that are also going broke and counting) Camden, NJ-Strafford County, NH-Riverdale, IL-Salem, NJ-Detroit, MI-Harrison, NJ-Jefferson County, AL-Pontiac, MI-Central Falls, RI As Chris states this is only getting started "Business Insider"

  • Nice up grades. Ammo+ Ammo+ Ammo+ Ammo= Alive,Living, Free, Able,Walking talking Constitution . Stock up on ammo brother.

  • So you just bought the sling and your doing a review on it?

  • NEVER EVER EVER!!!! tighten your sling like that again :-)

next time put the buttstock in your shoulder firing position and THEN tighten it up.

    peace

  • Dude you crack me up. The funny thing is that you demonstrate how a gun can be the last resort if you cannot escape on foot first. ;) Hey, nothing wrong with that! The belt seemed to have passed the test.

  • Nice video, but all this walking and running your doin and your still FAT!!!!!

U need to concern yourself with wgt loss.

  • @ Demcad Get a 5.11 vest

  • When did u poly stock the furniture on that ak?

  • You crack me up man.

At least stick a primed brass casing (no powder/bullet) in the chamber when you test out your rig. Better to know now whether you have a problem then if your cocked up and actually have to run one day.

But in all reality, you have nothing to worry about with your gun holstered other than an error on your behalf, or a mechanism like a strap or button breaking.

If you need a couple primed cases, shoot me a pm, I might just have your caliber. :)

    Thanks for making me smile.

  • demcad i use a made in America belt made by a company that provides them to the military and police - the company is HWC they are stateside and there belts have a plastic insert between both layers of heavy nylon - the belt is very stable and dos not bend or twist and is tough as nails comes in 1.5 inch and 2 inch - i picked the 2 inch - as well as costing only 20 bucks - on ebay - so good i am buying another - those bandages are great - bought 10 of them - they are self applicable in the field

  • Bend your knees my friend lol!

  • Fast as fast can be!

  • Nice running. I need to improve on the physical fitness. Your running and walking really encourages me. I just got my CPL today. Mostly I got it as a statement about personal rights, but it may come in handy if the SHTF. I took one class and am going to the range every week. Will start practicing at home for muscle memory with some snap caps I got from Amazon. Thanks for the videos. They really encourage me from many standpoints!

  • @PrepperBee Congratulations

  • The trigger didn't pull itself... wow, I'm really suprised.

  • put the sling around the other shoulder so that the strap is under your shooting arm. generally thats what i and most people do with AK's

  • Its always funny to see DEMCAD run...lol

  • have you looked into getting the drum magazines? look very handy if you dont have time to grab many magazines.

  • I have like 7 different holsters i use to CCW. There is no win all holster and everyone needs some kind of little mod to make it better. Nice work and training with your stuff is always the way to do. Thumbs up for the vid i was hoping for some push ups too

  • lift your knees more!

  • @djgrooveline Gonna sound weird, but I subscribed to you guys before I found out you knew eachother.

  • @AnonymousPatriot007 i wouldn't say we "know" eath other - but i've talked to Reg on the phone. he's a decent guy.

  • @djgrooveline Alright

  • do yourself a favor and get rid of the the $5 holster and get yourself something better that will 1 allow better draw of the weapon and 2 better security so it doesnt get taken from you and used against you. I recomend the black hawk serpa line.

  • @KeystoneRangers NOOOO! not the Serpa. Too many people have shot themselves in the leg with that holster. When you depress the locking button while under duress your finger is right there to pull the trigger. Fine if there's no round in the chamber, but Murphy always likes to show up when you don't expect it.

  • @KeystoneRangers It has a strap that snaps into place. You have to unbutton it to get the gun.

  • Comment removed

  • @DEMCAD on a side note ..you can invest in snap caps to practice drawing your weapon and shooting fast

  • @KeystoneRangers not everybody has the money u fucking douche

  • @KeystoneRangers I disagree! The holster is fine, because I can remove a pistol from a blackhawk holster because I know how to release it. Because I know most people want to feel tactical and buy them, I made it a point to know how to degunned (slickism) them if because it has either a thumb or index finger release; that's training!

I think he should get a Blackhawk 3-Point Release BELT, because it should not take him that much time to put a duty belt on; snap and go with the tri-clip!

  • II bad I thought you were preparing for battle an you where running cause you ran out of bullets. Lmao

  • I got to give it to you. Why most people might be shy to try out new things especially on camera you seem to give it your all. Nice Job!

  • you took my advice on the belt and i don't even get a shout out? booooo...

  • that would be so funny if someone came up and snatched that camera as you are running away not looking back! haha!

  • Why run when you can shot lmao

  • @trade2winz Because you can't shot a tornado or escape a burning building with a bullet.

  • @DEMCAD Kill Em All Demcad, A 2 DA K brrrrrraaaaaaat lol.

  • @ Demcad. Its unsafe to keep a unloaded chamber.......the criminal doesn't care it the gun is loaded....u can't call time out

  • @lonestarprepper It is unloaded for the review.

  • Demcad... Try putting the strap over the other shoulder, make it work for you not against you. If ever I get around flint again I really need to show you how to handle a rifle..

  • Pick up those knees, Demcad...:)

  • Dude, Demcad get a IWB Crossbreed holster! Horsehide! Worth its weight in gold!

  • Hey dem. Early this summer wife and I bike rode through kearsly park. (same day I saw you walkin an said hey!) decided to open carry took the bke trail through Mott across to kearsley park. and who was waiting for me at kearsley and Chavez?? A cruiser and two motorcycle units. The told me to respect their opinion and not carry in a park with children. I told them that although I respect it, i disagree and I will carry as the law allows. I shook their hands and continued on to my parents by w

  • @hvactek100 Well, I don't care about anyone opinion when it comes to my safety.

  • I'm not a fan of nylon determining where my rifle is held. I like a sling to be simple and assist in carrying the rifle long distances; if you even remotely suspect that you will be firing the rifle, you should have it at the low ready, or at least in your hands ready to quickly deploy. Too many times my army issue 3 point sling became a tricky spider web to maneuver my rifle around

  • No one breaking into your place.

  • if you're going for the "outside the pants holster" for ccw--- try the fobus ...mine cost me 14$ and for the g21it has really held up over the years....

  • Hey Demcad what would you do if while you were out at a distance running if someone was to walk up and steal your camera,Its Flint after all LOL Just BS you man.

  • I find that belts can be a little restricting so I use a paddle holster.Keeps the weapon from flopping arond or turning sideways.Problem with paddle holsters is they can be bulky and they stick out a little more.

  • Hey Demcad, just a heads up, your first kill is like your fist sex act, unforgetable and nothing sweeter then the first time.

  • Reggie... you should be 150 lbs with all the running you do man.

  • @waypastprime I don't ever want to be at 150.

  • (continued, see previous comment) If you would like the same style holster, but with a retention button (locks weapon in holster until the lock release is depressed) then search for glock 21 blackhawk at midway dot com. The fobus is around 22 dollars without shipping, and the blackhawk is 33 before shipping. Keep making the great videos!

  • Hi Demcad!

I've been watching your vids for a long time, but this is my first time commenting.

You have a great SHTF setup going on, but I would like to suggest some items to you.

Go to midway dot com and search for glock 21 fobus, this holster is manufactured specifically for your weapon and will provide a much more stable platform. The fobus however does not lock, but does provide a secure snug fit (I can run with mine). I use the fobus with my 1911.

  • @webpageshaman It looks great, but I want to be able to run without the passive retention failing.

  • @DEMCAD I completely understand, but the blackhawk actually has a catch that slides through the trigger guard that won't let the weapon loose without depressing the button, and you are much less likely to catch in on brush if you have to crawl or run through thick terrain. The plastic is a very strong polymer, and believe me when I say you can't get the weapon out without pressing that button, and the button is also recessed in a well, so you can't roll on to it and lose it either.

  • @webpageshaman Didn't a guy on Youtube shoot him in the leg with that holster?

  • @DEMCAD He could have, most cops carry them so the proliferation of them makes it likely that is possible. Finger on the trigger only when ready to fire. If you practice proper gun safety and keep your trigger out of the guard you should be fine, you're no more likely to shoot yourself with a blackhawk holster than another other holster imho.

  • @DEMCAD Yeah That was Tex Grebner, the George4title for the weapons crowd. Funny guy.

  • @DEMCAD Hey man, I just found that vid you mentioned and watched it in slow mo. The dude pulled the trigger with his finger while puling it from the holster, it was not due to the design of the holster but rather him failing to keep his finger off the trigger, from what I can gather.

  • @webpageshaman True. I don't think I'm going to be a fast draw.

  • Cool stuff guy, take care.

  • @Don8700 Thank you.

  • By the way if you want really good info on any guns and equipment listen to mark koernke he is on themicroeffect dot you know. early in the morning. they have weapons Wednesday! Talks about alot of good stuff for poor guys .Rigs ammo etc. the guy woke me up 20 years ago

  • @MrHr1207 I appreciate this.

  • @DEMCAD no problem. I know how it is to maybe have 25 bucks left to spend after the bills are payed! I'm lucky to have so much time to have to save and buy the things I will need! and to have friends and neighbors aware of these problems soon to come.Luckily I bout silver and gold long ago and my mortgage is in US dollars. So who knows I might be able to pay off my house with those metals when they hit their all time highs!

  • when you go grocery shopping add another pack of tp and store it . and then the next time add something else. You will save money in the long run like I have!

  • damn gun looks so much different from when you bought but in a good way

    great video

  • wow demcad you can move for a big guy! You remind me of my bud who is 6'7' 340 and fast as hell!

  • @sdrad39

Well stated Sdrad39! Any accidental discharges I've ever heard of had one or more of those statements to follow.

    Thank you

  • Dude you can move LOL

  • So you can open carry in Michigan without a permit...but you have to have a permit to conceal your weapon?

  • @RealRickyRoss Same as here in PA I guess. We can OC anywhere without a LTCF except in the city of a 1st class (1 million or more residents). In Philly (where I live) you need the PA LTCF to OC....but most people dont OC here because the uneducated citizens tend to freak out and call 911 all the time...That and the Philly PD tends to overreact with OC'ers....ah well I prefer CC anyway.

  • @RealRickyRoss You can open carry without a permit and you can conceal carry with a permit.

  • @mrmilleniumproof Not yet, I'm just now getting a sling. I'm poor so I'm doing my best.

  • @DEMCAD Get a Chicom chest rig :D 15 bucks or less, and you'll be rocking like Mao knows how!

  • Ya don't look as overweight as in other vids Reg,...great that you're in better shape,..thumbs up to ya!! = )

  • Hey, Reg! have you considered adding a bicycle to your supplies. It enables you to get places faster and with more ease. No need for roads and no gas requirement. Not to mention keeping a low profile with less noise. Idk, I like the idea of having a quick escape with mine lol

  • Hey DEMCAD you love guns, I think you should subscribe to FPSRussia here in

youtube, I think you will enjoy that channel.

  • Comment removed

  • la la laa laaa la lala "fat man in a little suit" hahahahahaa just playin man hahahaah good for you .. i need a good belt :)

  • From economic collapse to bug out survival, now that's scary!

  • and just for future reference, if youre running from someone dont run in the field when there is a forest a few yards away.

  • youre reviewing a piece of cloth? lol, it is important though.

  • Great review on the belt. I wish we could OC here in Florida, but our politicians are more concerned with tourists dollars than Floridian's rights.

    We need to clean house.

  • damn! you're bookin' man!....

  • Great vid man shows how the average american can prepare themselves for any situation.

  • you run pretty good for a man your size demcad ;) no pun intended. Great vid though.

  • @mthargoe lol gonna pull a racist joke no offense to anyone but of course he runs fast hes black!

  • @BigYerke LOL I'm black too (half), but I see you're point. Haha, all in good humour.

  • @mthargoe lol it gave me a laugh I know Im not gonna run my whiteness on youtube.

  • @BigYerke Haha! That's my other half! I don't mind, go ahead bro.

  • @sdrad39

Hi SDrad39. It's more operator error than malfunction with the Glocks. Not criticizing, just helping to put the correct info out for us all to benefit.

    Thanks everyone

  • @ChuckCh9 Hey Chuck...it always operator error, famous last words of an accidental/negligent discharge or a malfunction are'...I thought, I forgot, it has this feature and this shouldn't have happened...he had that pistol jangling around and bouncing off his rear end in the first video like it was holstered on a janitors key ring...just asking to utter one or all of those three phrases...he fixed it, he's safer and those around him are safer....

  • @sdrad39 glocks have been dropped tested and as he stated there was nothing in the chamber.relax!

  • @MrHr1207 Nothing is 100%, I'm sure if you searched it, you could find a Glock failing that drop test, I did..and relaxed people with guns...are dangerous to those around them, there are plenty of dead children to attest to that. I believe every citizen should have at least 2 guns, but I also believe that citizens should never relax in respecting their guns

  • Hey DEM. I carry a Glock 20 which is the same frame as the 21. I use the MIC holster every day. Perfect for edc. Take a look just for your info.

  • Keep at trying to get fit Demcad, I lost 25 pounds in 2 months by working out. Hard work is always rewarded (unless you're a British taxpayer) hahaha. Peace.

  • Reg I would be more than willing to help you pick out your gear. That tac belt is too flimsy to hold that holster and that 21.I That holster and that belt is a definite NO. A riggers belt would have been better and a Blade-Tech or BlackHawk Holster is a must for that 21. I know I carry a 21.

  • Much better....and to those morons who were sending me messages on your last video because of my criticism...they should put "Glock Negligent Accidental Discharge" in their search engine and read the results...if it can happen to a Federal Officer standing in front of a classroom of kids it can happen to anyone... Glocks malfunction if not handled properly...it's well known...good job on your part.

  • I see DEM is stepping up his game! Nice!

  • Comment removed

  • i enjoy your videos demcad, however i feel you need to march(run) and then shoot to find your real capacity in this field, coz if you can't your fail when the needs must bro?

  • @MaserNBates Believe me, I wish I could run and shoot in some field. I need that practice.

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't get clear look at your holster, I have a G-21. I use a in the pants holster and a Glock sport holster. I use a standard belt i bought at Target for my Glock holster. The only complant I have is the Glock is really stiff and getting the weapon can be a bit of a pain at first. After a wearing it for a wile it works fine, but the in the pants holster is far more comfy (even driving).

On the two point sling it looks awkward.

  • 5.11 is made in China, go American: BDS Tactical

  • @mackbk718 BDS makes great stuff.

  • I carry IWB usually. Mostly leather. My favorite carry rig is my Galco gunbelt with a Leather Arsenal IWB holster for the Glock 19/23. I've carried just about every gun I own in that holster at one time or another.

  • Hi Decad, love your vids But dude practise on your long distance running? Standard military fitness 20 hike with full backpack

  • Plus, bike riding is fun!

  • Nice new belt! Can you comfortably use it to carry your rifle hands-free on your back and access it quickly enough? That may be important when traveling on foot.

Dem, I have a recommendation for your next semi-large purchase: a bicycle. Bike riding vastly improves your cardio as well as leg muscles. It also helps your lower back and abs. If you go over rough terrain (not really something to do as a beginner) it can tone your arms as well. You can get a great quality bike for less than $550.

  • love that you are getting so fit and fast.

  • yes, the bandage prepping seems the be my downfall, not real sure how to use.

    thx man.

  • I really like my 5.11 tactical belt. I carry glock 22 with no problem

  • From the vid:

"it doesn't dangle like it used to"

"it maintained it's firmness and tightness"

Dude, what the hell are you reviewing? LOL

  • @Balefulmoon lol

  • If shit does hit the fan, I would not want to fuck with you!

  • I prefer to carry a sword.

  • @cobra1518

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. " Han Solo.

"If you take a sword to a gunfight the last thing you see will be muzzle blast." Bulldogger71

  • @cobra1518 you need a ballistic sword lol

  • @cobra1518 /watch?v=n7I1L0Oa-NE

  • @webpageshaman The Falchion is one of my favorite swords.

  • I use a paddle when i do decide to carry. I have the same tactical belt, but only use it with TDU tactical pants, not jeans.

  • We used that style of web belt in the marine corps they keep their shape and don't stretch like leather belts do. IMO one of the best buys you can make esspecially for a holster!

  • Paddle holsters are great. you can wear any belt you want.
