  • i remember my first time being 5, but i don't remember the second time

  • Waste of water to me! Save some for the fishies asshole!

  • @mascleavage >implying that same water won't be reused as it has been for billions of years

    lrn2science prick...

  • o.o it's just static

  • omg! Katara? Is that you?!

  • OHHHHHH SO that's how Moses did it

  • that water sound makes me wanna pee lol

  • Eat your heart out, water benders!!

  • FAKE THE TAPE IS FAKE IT GOT A TIP THAT MOVESSS GUY IS TWIST IT AT A POINT FAKE!

  • And if we put a lot of combs, can we make the water goes up???????

  • @TheLongbei trollphysics

  • And if we put a lot of combs, can we make the water goes up???????

  • @TheLongbei Wayta copy ur other comment\

  • @haiger69 ???

  • @TheLongbei Way to copy your other comment

  • cool

  • this aint avatar bro

  • Simple electromagnetics. That's all it is.

  • water is polar...the comb will induce an opposite charge resulting in repulsion

  • you can do that with salt and pepper

  • Water is polar...

  • It's called electric touch

  • cause the combs electrons rubed of into your hair meaning its negativly charged so when you put it to the water its positive...or what i dont understan.

  • STATIC RULEZ haha

  • horray for static

  • static electricity..

  • i did this when i was like 5 years old.

  • @legler09 me too

  • good, cause i live in arizona

  • hahah crazy

  • ur stupid jk

  • static

  • physics, so magical

  • OMG!

    How does it do that??

  • static eletricity

  • put some chriss angel narration on it for kicks

  • it didnt work for me

  • Yes, it's a fucking BIOLOGY experiment...because of the intense amount of THE STUDY OF LIFE in this video...

I hate the whole goddamned planet...

  • Why don't you kill yourself.

    The feeling is mutual.

  • lmao.

  • Then again however... DASHIZZ6357 uR COMMENT WAS AMAZINGLY STUPID.

  • and you have to wonder: who figured that one out? lol...just imagine the scenarios possible.

  • The same principle can be applied to a beam of light.

  • This guy is right, don't deny it. Light is matter....

  • So I can comb myself then put the comb in front of a beam of light and it will bend? Yes, yes static electricity bends light...

  • hmmm... I cannot detect sarcasm in text. Are you serious?

Because It is actually true you know.

  • wizow

  • electromagnetic lines of flux. static charge creates potential difference (abundance of electrons) in comb. the water molecule, while having a neutral charge, does have a polar dielectric moment. The negatively charged comb attracts the positive end of the dipole, which in the water molecule happens to occupy a larger surface area (the molecular angle puts the positive charge on the end with the hydrogen atoms). This is why water is such a good solvent as well.

  • "dipole". As in the Dipole-Dipole IMF?

  • ummm.... that was odd

  • it also works if you rub your hair for like 5 minutes and put your head near the water i think.

  • ov corse not its static electricity from ure hair

  • wow your a loser

  • I first did this when i was in 3rd grade.

I shows you how you use static electricity to curve the flow of water.

    FACT

  • now i most pie!!!

  • AH. I too hate it when I have to pie. ;)

  • is this supposed to be fascinating?

  • actually your all wrong the person is slightly bending table. the water has enough pressure to stay straight untill gravity is too powerful for it thats when it slightly curves because he is slarnting the table. so obvious!!!

  • omfg u r all stupied its static eletricity god ur dumd

  • your dumb you cant even spell! and why did you have to reply the comment on me! do it to someone else!!!!!!! learn to spell i beg of you.

  • wow. you are really stupid. hope my spelling was good enough for you. you know that you are losing an argument when your only rebuttal is "learn to spell i beg of you". also, he probably "reply the comment on you" because you are the only one who is stupid enough to believe that this is cheap trick and not science in action.

  • ok brainiac! i aint got time for you and im not just saying that because your winning its because im not arguing with some saddo about water bending trick. get a life! actually dont your a waste of a human body

  • and your not? your the one who keeps replying

  • ur fucking dumb dumb shit its static electricty rofl

  • yea u can do it with ur finger

  • More like curving water. Bending water is just impossible.

  • This "trick" plays on the polarity of the water molecule. The "brushing through the hair" creates static and then the water is magnetically attracted to the comb...PHONEY!! Your just a great big PHONEY!!

  • Dont Wast the water -.-'

  • can you show us how to drown yourself ?

  • use a fuckin ballon rub it alot and it works very good

  • cool old trick

  • Use a plastic comb, thinner stream of water, on a non-humid day, and you can get the water stream to bend upwards.

  • its called static electricity...

  • u can do it wid a ballon aswell

  • It works better with a fleece jacket! ^_^

  • oh okay lleapoldstotch post that. that way youll have a video that ISNT linerider. i think that bumps it up to 3 too.

  • sereousaly, 08nikyJO is right. we need more things like; 'try this at home'

  • conserve.

  • houston's always humid i aint doin that ever... not b/c i dont want to or becuase it aint cool... houstons humid as fuck

  • static because ur head has a lot of static same thing with a balloon and and a wall it doesn't stick but when u rub it enough there are extra electrons and those are negative and "jumps" to the positive atoms

  • lol there is nothing in this guys head

  • its called static iv done it before.

  • it is because of uneqaul airpressure you can put a ping pong ball in water while attached to string it stays in the stream of water

  • You can also do this with a magnet.

  • This is always cool. but you get much more of an effect if you hold the comb in line with the stream (up and down) and angled. I can almost get it to flow UP, but then the stream breaks. Have fun! -Peace!

  • that was kool

  • its very simple same idea with rubbing a ballon on your hair and placing it on the ceiling static electricity by giving the comb a charge with friction

  • thats awesome

  • great stuff,...

  • cool... we did this in science class.

  • thats cool but i did it with a metal can instead of water

  • It can be plastic. It is electrostatics.

  • Does it have to be a steel comb or would any comb do?

    Is it magnetism or electrostatics?

  • it is because the material in the comb is magnetized from rubbing your dry hair.
