  • thats actualy a pretty good idea!

  • He was a good man

  • @MrCharmizard regards titanic captain smith before being given titanic grounded 3 ships and was responsible for coal fires on 2 others plus Titanic's coal fire which he should not have sailed with.. he was not without incident in his career and was not competent to be in charge of such a large ship all info British board enquiry kind regards

  • Captain Smith did not die he was too strong

  • MUITO TRISTE: MUITAS PESSOAS MORRERAM NO TITANIC

  • poor fabrizio

  • 0:17 - 0:26

Is it me or did James Cameron purposely reuse this shot in Avatar when the tree is falling?

  • In real life, Captain Smith died not at bridge but at Grand Staircase.

  • @stellaruniversexmpls sorry but smith was confirmed by at least 12 people as swimming around in sea after titanic sank British board of inquiry kind regards

  • @MrMeglodon1000 well he went down with the ship on purpose some of the crew survived and he told the crew he was going down with the ship

  • @hotforxx the captain did have a baby with him and did give the baby to the crew member

  • He didn't die that way he was dragged under and the funnel collapsed on him thus killing smith and the smoke was too much for his lungs (like all of us) and he could not get up so that's how he really died

  • @MrMegalodon1000 no one knows how he died but he probably died on his post

  • @MrMegalodon1000 The funnel actually fell on John Jacob Astor.

In the movie the funnel falls on Fabriso, but of course he is fictional.

Smith did help get women and children into boats. he was last seen heading back to the bridge. So it is likely that he drowned like dipicted in the film. Then the bridge collapsed on him and his body was probably washed away.

On the other hand, i thought his death in the movie was a good way for him to go out. No one knows how he really died for sure.

  • Why your videos got LD (low definition)?

  • i wonder if the real captain went down with the Titanic!!

  • @partygirl209 It was known and reported OFFICIALLY......that after the Titanic went under water a crew member on one of the lifeboats stated that Captain Smith was in the water and did in fact, swim up to the lifeboat. And the crew member wanted to bring Captain Smith onto the lifeboat. But he refused to get in and swam away to his death. How the story differs is like this, one person said in the lifeboat that the captain had a baby and gave it to the crew member. another denied that.

  • @partygirl209 yep, he did. he later found in the wreck and his body was cruched

  • the captain in real life said every man for himself so if this in the movie then it has got it all wrong...

  • @kellymreid What is all wrong ?

  • @kellymreid No, the last reported words of Captain Smith were "Be British"

  • @ronvins He said "Be British"?

That didn't help much, did it?

  • @kellymreid Captain always go's down with the ship

  • @kellymreid I have no idea what you meant..

  • @kellymreid some sources said that he did wander off to the wheel house while others said he dove into the sea after giving the order. There is even a story that he was seen near the overturned life boat handing a baby over to one of the men and then swam away before freezing to death.

  • lol its not just the captains death, its also fabrizio's.

  • Wow, I wasn't expecting that many responses. Guess it was truly a conspiracy!

  • Fabrizio should've tried to climb onto the boat before cutting the falls so he wouldn't be swept around.

  • The awnser is ice that made the funnals fall.

    And Captan Smith Was Rich.XD

  • wow the funnel killed him !

  • @ATITANIC1992 no there's many thoeries

  • Why do people get all sad when Frabizio dies? We didn't get to learn anything about his character, he was just there so Jack wasn't all alone same thing with Tommy.

  • @samiam1995 He had a cool accent ^ _ ^

  • OMG! FABRIZIO!!!!!!!!!

  • @Brain245able IK NOOO TEACH ME SWEDISH OR WUTEVER IS UR LANGUAGE!!!

  • @kindJake ?!?! What did I said?

  • @Brain245able I meant I'm with u only that I wanted to learn his language

  • @kindJake With me at what? I dont get it....

  • @Brain245able u said omg!Frabrizio...Then I said I know right I wanted to learn swedish or wut ever it was his language but I'm with u in tht hedidn't diserve to die(tht is that was what u were thinking about!)

    I

  • @kindJake huh? you think "fabrizio" is a swedish name...?

  • @pemchem no, it's italian. capisco?

  • i think the italian guy shouldnt have died and it was sad when he did.

it was funny though when he said basterdo!!!!

  • What made all the funnels fall off? Alright, gravity and the ropes snapping and all that, but ropes don't snap for no reason and gravity would make all the funnels fall off at the same time.

  • @WonkyTonkBotty the first funnel fell because the forward expansion joint opened due to the stretching of the ships super structure when she was sinking and the the ropes that go over this joint from the first funnel were pulled by this opening and snapped the second broke away and did not fall but its bottom was imploded by the water around it the 3rd and 4th fell because of the breaking of the aft expansion joint and final that expansion joint failed and ripped the ship in 2 cozin them to fall

  • @clctitanic Wait. I thought somebody cut the cables off the starboard side.

  • @MalaFiumanka No the people on the starboard side were cutting the ropes to the lifeboat not the funnel. they were cutting the ropes to the lifeboat because it was attached to the ship so it would have been pulled down. the funnel ropes/cables snapped because of the opening off the forward expansion joint.

  • @clctitanic and they also were cutting the ropes of the life boat(s) becuase the life boat(s) at front(or bow) were not hagging any more becuase the water was already cuaght up to the life boat so they decided to cut it or it might be -1 or 2 life boat(s).

  • @kindJake But even if they were cutting the ropes to the lifeboats what does the matter to the sinking or the falling funnels ?

  • @clctitanic some ppl cut the funel's ropes accidently or so...but u know how despret they were to get away fom the Titanic

  • @clctitanic Also it is a nice vid...but I've also read that the capt. went to stern and jumped but his coat got stuck on the propeller and so said "I will go donw with this ship!!!" out loud that some ppl and crew heard it!

  • @clctitanic i think that the 1st funnel came off due to the water pressure.

  • @Robolawrence23 That was only one of the factors that caused it to fall but not the main one, it was far to shallow for it to be the pressure. because the 2nd funnel lasted longer submerged more than half without breaking free due to the air and water pressure working agains't each other.

  • @clctitanic good point the 2nd one didn't collapse at all

  • @WonkyTonkBotty MY opinion is that the funnel was only supported my those ropes and because the ropes collapsed the funnel fell off..... but my question remains HOW did the ropes collapse?

  • @WonkyTonkBotty The Ropes became unstable, loose, and what not. When the rope snapped, then gravity took its part.

  • @WonkyTonkybotty simple its the water

  • @WonkyTonkBotty I think nobody knows when or if they fall jaja

  • @666denish666 they did fell sooner or later they had to they can't stay like that...like when the bow went down it went down with speed that could have made the funnels fall... btu ofcource be4 the bow sank.

  • @WonkyTonkBotty that aint just movie magic. that is how it happened in real life

  • @MrTitanicfanatic2 No doubt

  • awesome!

  • That's pretty cool, because that's actually how the bridge was crushed. Wether the captain was there or not we'll never know. Good job!

  • @norwegiangod2002 Thanks :)

  • @clctitanic fuck you cocksucker

  • @norwegiangod2002 He wouldn't have had to be if he hadn't ignored the obscene number of iceberg warnings he had recieved!

  • @Amtrak1194 Actually he didn't ignore them. If you research a little further you'll discover that Capt. Smith recieved most of the warnings and charted them in the chart room. Once he discovered they were directly ahead of them he ordered Titanic further south, to skirt around the Ice. It is rumoured that this is why Ismay wanted to speed up, to make up for the lost time the diversion made.

  • @norwegiangod2002 The bride wasn't crushed like that. The water pressure broke the glass and the pole destroyed the bridge when the Titanic crashed on the ocean floor. The first funnel just snapped off.

  • @sacramentolove No, not entirely accurate. The Bridge was crushed when the forward funnel collapsed onto the roof of the bride. The falling foremast simply added to the destruction. But thank ou for your theory.

  • @norwegiangod2002 aww so smith dies then they crush him, now thats not right

  • omg when fabrizio dies it's so sad... :(

  • good edit!

  • thank's! :)

  • Does anybody know how did they do this scene??:D when captain dies.

  • Actually there were funnels fore and aft of the grand staircase dome cover. The second and third funnels were separated by under two-hundred feet to make way for the auxiliary compass platform. The fourth funnel was a dummy and actually cover the engine room. The fourth funnel was used to mainly ventilation of below-deck spaces especially the reciprocating engine and turbine engine room and the generator room.

  • On 0:03 there is no funnel! And some seconds later the funnel stays behind the Grand Staircase dome.

  • watch?v=2vp--AlWBrU&feature=related

  • in a scene, there the captain go in to the room there he died, that sad music, whats the name to it ?

  • nearer my god to thee

  • no, its not nearer my god to thee XD

  • good, the chimney made it look like it was applying pressure onto the captain's quarters which made the glass break. but in the movie the captain dies before the chimney falls.

  • The funnel snapped of just before when the whole deck was full of water the bridge actually was under water but the pressure made the glass implode

  • Good edit, but in reality the funnel smashed into the bridge, destroying it.

  • Thanks, but i think you misunderstood what i was trying to show to the viewers in the video. when the funnel fall's in this video i tried to make out that the window's in the inclosed bridge imploded due to the funnel hitting the bridge and crushing it.

  • I understood what you were trying to show the viewers, but logically speaking, the bridge's ceiling would've caved in (like in the interior scenes when the ship is breaking up) as soon as the funnel fell onto the bridge.

  • Yes, nice edit, but in fact, the funnel didn´t hit the bridge at all, it fell on the portside of the ship...

The bridge was ripped of it´s fitting when the forward section of the ship went down.

  • i guess the ship didn't like the captain

  • @kosmot199 LOL!!

  • Awesome!

  • well in real life the number 1 funnel did collapse on the bridge so 5/5

  • @movieman175 yeah but i dont think it damaged it cuz of the water covering the bridge possibly broke impact

  • cool idea, but, it didn't actually happen. OR DID IT?

  • I like it, good idea ;)

  • hey thanks for the comment! ;)

  • Wow, that was awesome, it looks believable too!

  • hey! thanks for your comment, i had added extra sinking sounds and screams! so it would be more horrible and feel kinda dramatic! :)

  • Good Idea! 5/5

  • hey wow thanks! :)
