  • first video that has been really straight forward to where i could actually see exactly what you were doing, and thanks for explaining the purpose of the screws..very very helpfull

  • Very well explained thx

  • theres a gun in the background!?

  • Thanks very helpful, nicely explained! : )

  • Oh yeah man I almost forgot, well actually I did forget and stuff so I'm doin it agin. On the brake thing you said it can just hit it almost like straight but don't worry about it hittn it at an angle and if yer putn too much pressure then it's hittn it the wrong way but this kind doesn't need to be hittn it like that so just put it you know so it's hittin the side of the rim. Is that true?

  • Dude like thanks man you know it's like that thing was stuck and man it was not working so I tightened that other thing and screwed both things so the thing would work you know so now all of the things are all tight or loose and the thing didn't stick so you made it all quick and easy you know.

  • Nice vid. Any idea how to fix if ur callipers are both moving at the same time but on releasing only one side moves back?...have tried adjusting the tension with those little screws and both r clamping at the same time, just one side is not springing back ...highly annoying...

  • the stares in the beginning was quite intense lol, really good video, thanks for helping me tuning my brakes.

  • thank you man my brakes are all worn out because of this problems thank you so so so much

  • Great video. Now i know how to stop the brake from sticking to one side. Thanks

  • Yea, good explanation! All you need to know to adjust a V-brake.

  • Very clear - thanks.

  • In every V-brake adjustment video I've ever watched on youtube, no one ever talks about leaving any adjustment for quick-release!

  • nice gun !!! gotta be safe.

  • great video!! now how do you stop them from squealing?

  • @KC4VENDETTA I think that's why you'd "toe it in" which he said not to... Sheldon Brown's website also suggests using "salmon pads".Good luck!

  • Nice tattoo's dude. Thanks. :)

  • Today I finally assembled my first V break, thanks to you man!

  • Thank you. very helpful.

  • "easy stuff" if you know it... so THANK YOU because now it's easy stuff for me too :-)

Your explanation is straightforward, clear and includes those two mysterious little side screws! It really helped!

  • You explained everything really well and solved my brake problem...thanks!

  • dude your a lifesaver! many thanks for a great vid.

  • great video thanks ;)

  • thanks dood!

  • thanks alot! really helped me with the arms adjustment as one of them was significlly closer then the other, making the adjustment of the tension a hell!

    really a life saver :)

  • Thank you! Doing this from a book seemed like rocket science. You made it super easy.

  • Thanks for the lesson. This is the first one I've tried that actually fixed my problem. You explained in 3:30 minutes what my owners manual couldn't explain in 230 pages and 3 different languages.

  • Thanks for explaining the adjustment using the little screws on the side Miles, think I will be able sort out the problem with mine now.
