  • cute

  • @shelbycan woodthrush kicks mourning dove butt

  • @shelbycan OMG me too! Hello there childhood:)

  • Well, at least my doubt is gone. I keep hearing them in the trees.

  • What is the sound they make when they fly away.

  • @shadow12231337 Some pigeons seem to "grunt" with each flap of their wings. Like she's really working hard to fly away. That's my opinion.

  • @jkontrad Per Wikipedia, that sound is actually the air whistling through their wings.

  • @themaritimeman Thanks for the info. I stand corrected.

  • @jkontrad No problem.

  • @shadow12231337 The high pitched sound is actually their wings flapping.

  • @shadow12231337 The sound they make when they fly away is made by their wings. When air goes through their feathers the wings make a whistling noise.

  • Thanks so much for this upload.

  • Awesome

  • its so cute...

  • 0:04 :D

  • @Vercetti272007 The dove was sitting right above a robin's nest under the deck. You can hear the robin flying away and chirping. That's when the dove looked surprised.

  • @jkontrad Oh, thanks for the answer. I just love the expression of it haha. Also, awesome quality, please make more!

  • @Vercetti272007 I have tons of videos of wildlife in my yard, and I've tried for months to upload to YouTube, but 90% of the time they get corrupted. Only very short videos seem to work.

  • Short and sweet...
