Try shortening the spacers in the front forks to reduce the preload on the springs. That can improve the bike a lot in corners. Also, the rear shock maybe worn out. How many miles on your bike? If you have never lubed the drive splines I would highly recommend that.
I have a '92 k75s with 58K miles on it. Still running great - but it can be very heavy on the wallet! If you take care of them they take care of you. I changed my s handlebars to the RT bars - much more comfortable.
i can honestly say, that in the 15yrs of its life, it hasnt been too heavy on the wallet, it has required NO repairs in that time. Its on its second battery... the rear tire a few times. its on its third front disks (normal wear and tear replacement). My only complaint is that i never feel as safe on corners as i used to on my Guzzi which i had during the eighties... i wouldnt want to go on one of these alpine tours, i couldnt keep up wiht the others.
a 750 would be great in a tight country, it would be fun actually. I cant stand driving anything under a 1000. drove an army jeep on the wrong side in japan. took getting used to, would need two bikes to follow..
riding to work makes me feel like i cheated and all the suckers had to drive a car.
I had a K75 for a little while..... bit gutless I have to say. I've got an R100R collecting rust in my back garden at the moment. I like that bike alot but can't afford to get it back on the road.
