  • Looking very ugly....wires from Brakes are to long and everywhere you are look, there a wires.....Bad Quality......I think its a cheap E-Bike........

  • explain how 1000w 1.3hp goes 40mph while 8000w goes 50

  • @ianman20011 they set it @ 5600w please read the descriptions of videos before commenting!

  • @reddragon9918 ok but i still know that 1000w will not do 40mph that's just silly

  • @ianman20011 why not? I have a 500w that goes 20mph...

  • @reddragon9918 because i have a 1000w and it does not do 40mph, and at say 30mph a motor would use a shitload more energy to add the same amount of speed as at 20mph due to the fact that at those speeds it is using more energy to combat air resistance than anything else. doubling the wattage does not equal double speed. i would assume you would need at least 1500watts to come close to 40

  • @ianman20011 Its not about the watts but the volts. It could do well over 50mph if it had 72v

  • @ianman20011 again you can make a 250watt motor run at over 50mph if overvolted. Probably wont last long but and it has to be free of a speed limiter of course.

  • r u guys in brazil

  • Where can i buy this bike ?

  • We need some helmet cam footage here.

  • omg i live in slo i love this place people are really nice

  • The only people I've seen on electric assist bikes were over the age of 60. Their bikes were all lower wattage than this one, mind you.

  • gopeds are legal where i live in livermore, CA. You only have to wear a helmet and stay in the bike lane when you're riding one.

  • Thats not right, gopeds are gas powered and legall without plates. Thats sucks. I want to get a gas powered bike, but they won't ship them to CA. So i'll just have it ship to KS where my friend lives and have him ship it to me when it arrives....lol. Mary Nichols is a communist fascist nazi pig!

  • @925jdb Actually the electric powered scooters are legal with out plates, you need a license for gas powered

  • No cops can't bust you for anything they want, that would be violated your 4th amendment. my friend has a gas powered bicycle that goes 25 mhp and the cops don't mess with him at all. he lives in central CA. cops are too stupid to tell what size the moto is, they would have to take the whole engine apart.....lol.

  • @925jdb true, i live in cali and have a motorized bicycle capable of hitting 38mph flat ground, i wear a DOT/Snell approved motorcycle helmet and have a headlight, mirror, and brake/tailight with turnsignals and have never been hasseled with the cops, when ever i see one i usually make it look like im pedalling my ass off. they say to be legal you need a plate and m2 license but most cops dont care. i did order my plate thought because there only 19 dollars to register through mail.

  • Would be better with 700c road tires, rolling resistance of those mountain bike tires decreases the maximum speed.

  • @smith34n I agree with you.

  • Supergrapecrusher@ lol did you still get in trouble

  • in my town i go 35, and when they pull me over, i say i was pedalling

  • yea but mor eimportantly how long does it run rofl. if you include slight uphills the whole way. (Caus esome trips are up slight hills, the whole way)

  • how much does this cost i have a nice bike but i want to get this electric motor that you have

  • From what I've heard you hit something solid like a tree or car at 35 mph it can kill you pretty easy. I'f im gonna go that fast I would rather take my chances on a motorcycle. Riding something like this on sidewalks and bike paths is asking for trouble. Thats why governments around the world put limits on thier power. Also your visibility is lower to other drivers than motorcycles. Have fun while your alive.

  • you got back fast

  • how can i get one of these..?

  • Fed Ex and the black helicopters are out to kill this off!

  • make a velomobile ELECTRIC for fucks sake if you want RANGE and SPEED!

I would do it myself even right now but I don't have the $ for such a project...

If the velomobile is enclosed SOME USERS might leave the car home more often one might think!

The reason would be the money left in their pockets ; aha, I'm talking about those money you MUST GIVE TO THE GAS STATIONS FOR SHAMELESSLY EXPENSIVE GAS!

    nice video!

  • How much would a bike like this cost?

  • @audiboyrs6 "How much would a bike like this cost?"

Although this appears to be an excellent product, I shudder to think how much it will go for because unfortunately, people tend to want to bring in as much money as possible on products like this, not taking into consideration the general state of the economy and/or other related factors.

How many products have we all seen that were highly viable but cost too damn much and ended up with very limited success due to per-unit price?

  • To think this motor is less than half as powerful as Chris Hoy lol

  • i want one :D how and where do i get it?

    thx

  • they always like to exaggerate the top speed! at no load with the wheel off the floor it gets 37 mph, this means go over this speed down hill and the motor is slowing you down. i get 32/ 33 mph on the flat

  • How do i get one??? I always wanted an electric bike.

  • I see you have the new invisible helmet.

  • i got some Qesens about the bike call me 575-581-0143

  • Incredible bike! Can someone please give me some tips about bikes? I'm wanting to get either an electric or motor bike to get around faster but don't know which to get. Electric bikes I hear don't go very fast but save $ over time and motor bikes are hard to build and require a lot of upkeep yet can fly down the street like the one in the video. I'm not rolling in $ but I've saved up some for a good one. I don't know which to get, can someone give me advice? Thanks!

  • @Zegeebwah go with electric. Its cleaner, less maintenance, and pretty stealthy, at a glance it looks bone stock, so you wouldn't have to worry about the fuzz giving you shit. Did I mention 0$ for gas and insurance? :p

  • where to buy ?

  • No helmet = dumb!! Other than that, cool video.

  • @robbcayman bro your safer riding this then hitting a small jump on a bmx bike

  • look at ebikes 15%off at Nobagsgreen

  • Fix that cables pls!

  • wow.... nice acceleration !

  • O.o holy crap that's fast.

  • wooooow cool bike, my friend has the Busettii Big 50 Mile bike and it seems to fly like this one. Wonder what kind of mileage per battery charge this can get. I know that my friends Busettii runs about 50 miles on a charge.........Where can I buy this one ?? ciao

  • 1000w =1.33HP

  • will the tire balloon?

  • India is selling whole Electric bike for only $166 as compare to these expensive made in USA bikes or motore...

  • @watup2154 In India??How do I learn more?? Pleeze tell!!

  • i see a burnout in the future

  • Need to keep the electric part stealth or the cops will nail you to see if you have a motorcycle license

  • @hypnos315 Thats truuee

dude Im triyingg to buy an electric bike similar as that one

  • @hypnos315 Keep it under 25mph (30mph in California) and 20mph in some states in the USA and you won't get busted. Hard to prove you are over the watt limit, in OR it's 1000 watts, but most motors will peak much higher. On the other hand, they can bust you for anything they feel like, so guess it don't matter what we do, let's do it anyways and have some fun while we can!

  • @HostileHST Yeah, a truly "progressive" gov. would promote e-bikes as a way to cut fuel usage burdens on the country, cut traffic congestion and pollution, and make people more sociable.

  • @stopglobalswarming Never thought about the sociable part, but now that you've mentioned it, I am more sociable when I go bike riding than I ever was driving a car. Thank you for pointing that out, now I can ride my bike with that much more pride and enjoyment (and I'm being serious, thank you!).

  • @HostileHST That's the truth brother. In Texas I think it's 35? mph. I hear most guys around here just use it for acceleration and uphills. Then pedal to maintain a good coast if they have a geared bike. I kinda wanna make 1 but I find myself reading the laws on it over and over again and eventually talking myself out of it.

  • @HostileHST

Really depends on the cop most won't do anything unless they see you weaving between cars but you may run into a douche bag who should not have made it pass the psych testing.

  • The speed depends, I'd imagine around 20% of the riders weight. The dude riding here I can see does not weigh much.

  • @Pudersepp well of course it makes a difference . i can't speak in lbs , but i think in kilograms : bike weights about 30 kg's ~ 95 lbs i think . my weight is 85 kgs and a friend o mine has 65 kgs , so the load on the bike can be 95 kgs , if my friend rides it , or 115 , in my case , so there's a big difference in the power to weight ratio as you change the riders

  • @TheKaos90 Wooo Kakakakaak that's heavy my 26" wheel Extreme King Cycle Mountain bike ... i reduce the weight till "26 Ibs" not yet included the e motor n Battery

  • without a helmet, thats stupid

  • congratulation's. it's powerdrive is un-obtrusive to my eye (&) it's what's concern'd me the most.

  • 1000W = 1.3HP

  • @mathiaskobel

It will more likely be about 1 - 1,2 HP. Unless the motor has an efficiency of 100 percent :p

  • @mathiaskobel 1,36hp to be exact :D

  • @mathiaskobel it's 1.37 actually :)

  • @mathiaskobel

So it's a bicycle with more power than a horse. Think about that.

  • @Zamboro more power than a trotting draught horse on an all day shift. A galloping race horse is probably more like 10hp+

  • @TimpBizkit ." A galloping race horse is probably more like 10hp+"

Hahahaha!! doesnt 1 horse have 1 horsepower? Ive heard they measure a horses power using emu power. I think one horse has 36 emu's, dont quote me.

  • Well if a human can put out a horse power for a bit then that would mean a human was as strong as a horse lol difference is a horse can do it all day. I very much doubt you could get a 600kg horse to 40mph on just 746 watts lol. This bike is lighter, has wheels instead of legs and also has 1000 watts

  • dope

  • you do know this could potentially make you a billionaire right??

  • where can I get those motor kits?

  • Ligth weag pro

  • Love the bike...but wear a helmet man

  • @Nicool333 <--- what he said!

Seriously dude, at those speeds you DON'T want a Close Encounter of the Tarmac kind wearing just a T-shirt.

  • нифига себе!

  • all you need is to get ultra high power charging stations which can recharge in minutes then you have the perfect transport

  • 48 volts! That's impressive! I would have thought it would take more than that.

  • how much is that kit cost? I own a specialized and would love to power it up.

  • You can make a Motorcycle scooter with a double side Baterie and while it turns and drive put a generator to rechage the Batterie as it runs making it last longer You would have something great here

  • i better buy a motorcycle

  • Do you need a license to drive that? Where's the turn signals?

  • u guys right off end of rinaldi. i ride through there from work

  • @venskus2009

    8.9 pounds for the motor...

  • @BlackRockProject

that's what they are talking about... not the whole bike...

  • i been saving up for one of these!

how does it handle hills though?

  • this is a pretty cool conversion because(i mean only if you can recharge it by peddling) if you can manually charge it, u can use the electric motors for any terrain that is difficult to peddle thru or a steep hill. basically you can use it as NOS

  • is that a fucking horse crossing the street @1:04 at the end of the road? hahaha

  • @resisthexcept yes yes it is.

  • @resisthexcept haha, you got some amazing eyes. There IS a horse walking across the street!

  • peels

  • how much would one of those cost :p

    pm me?

  • how much please ?

  • Do some donuts on the thing :D

  • l can understand the government restrictions concerning licesencing...but wouldnt 30 mph be ok? BRUSHLESS MOTORS RUUUUULE.... l'm jealous.. speed of this motor is awesome.. party on duuuude sent freind add request & subbed you

  • So far it looks like you got a winner! Waht kind of batteries and how many cycles between battery replacement?

    Nice Set up!

I would believe that the bike could weigh 28.9 lbs.

  • i want one of this....cool conversion...cool bike too

  • i want one of this....cool conversion

  • thats pretty good i guess you have a good system my bike is a 250 watt motor and i only get the speed up to 18kph . the motor is suppose to go 32kph but the bike wieghs at least 50 ibs i weigh 175 pounds . im surprised your motor goes that fast i guess there no law ther that governs the motor to 32kph . but great video

  • I used to tear up that street and many others around there with my Z06 :D :D

  • the government want to restrict the speed on electric road bike in order to keep the petrol indsutry thriving. ITs sad how they wont allow road bike capable of a measly 40mph.

  • @1982FMJ Every State I ever lived in restricted a Motorized Pedal bike (MoPed,get it?) to 25mph. It doesn't matter if it's fossil fueled or electric. Any faster, and it gets titled as a Motorcycle, and has to meet a bunch of regulations for a faster vehicle. Take the tinfoil hat off.....

  • @1982FMJ

    Be happy with your Situation,

in Germany it's allowed to drive "Pedelecs" means, only electric support when padeling and only up to 25 km/h ~15,6mp/h at a maximum power of 250 Watts

  • how come it's illegal to ride a bike past 20mph? I want to bike to get me to and from work but I have some serious steep and long hills that I'd like a little assistance getting up so I was considering converting it to electric or gas.

  • @venskus2009 hes talkin bout the engine my friend

  • omg the kick in the biginin whoaaa thats how a like my motor hehehe nice freaking work dude i would buy one loll hehe

  • I'm building one of these. I have nearly every part for a 24 volt system ready and am searching for the best batteries. Way to go guys. Well done. After seeing this I am considering a 48 volt systm. I have two 24 volt motors

  • well, i´d like to see a 100 pound chicken riding this bike. bet she will hit Mach 1!

  • What range does it have?

  • You need a 1000wat motor to go 38 mph ? I have a 500 watt motor with lead acid battery's (48v) and I got mine to 36mph with the wind at my back and tucked in to reduce the air drag. Also my motor is physically 2x the motor in this video. I'm sure with slicks front and back I could get it to 38mph.

  • @jrviolette you are a loser...your talking about a bicycle right? haha slicks come on now...buy a mororcycle :)

  • I have a couple of the crystalites through Rock the Bike mounted on a couple Mundos. I'm very curious in this system, does it generate even more power than the crystalite? I coordinate the Outdoor Program in Oregon and we use these not only for transportation but power generation for shows etc. I'd like to learn more.

  • Cool. :)

  • @venskus2009 he's talking about the weight of the motor NOT the bike :D

  • @venskus2009 He's saying the MOTOR weighs 9lbs, not the bike. Read the description, genius.

  • yeah, what's the range on one charge?

  • i want one man..!!!!

  • @venskus2009 only the MOTOR is 9 lbs..the motor. singular. not the bike, or its batts. just the fucking motor. ya god damn retard.

  • Uhm...mtb bikes aren't designed for 40mph

  • Impressive. Good job guys!

  • 10Ah x 48V = 480Wh

@1000 W that's about 30 min running time at max output

  • hahaha, looks so funny, to see start pedalling normally and goes like a car xD

  • Where are they available ? how long / distance do they go on a charge?

How long does it take to charge? Solar ?

  • id say it weighs less tahn 8.9 but w/e sweet

  • funny shit...

  • this is the best Emtb ive seen online. its quite pricey though. a bit too pricey for common folk. but id love to get one, what fun it looks.

  • The Hub Motor weighs 8.9 not the whole bike you dumbass, great bike btw bring, good work.

  • hes going 40 mph with no helmet, thats a fuckin genius for ya right there

  • @jf1gd2

    Whats a helmet?

  • @0815tobey somethin thats worn be people who dont get wiped out down the road by a guy named darwin (unlike your friend)

  • @jf1gd2 by*

  • @jf1gd2

Darwin? Who the fu** is Darwin? ;-)

  • @0815tobey the guy who will claim your friends life in the near future. ull meet him soon enough :)

  • I want one, when will the kit be available?

  • 8.9 pounds? pfffttt. its obvious the bike weighs atleast 3 times that.

  • Show it doing a burnout...!

  • The poster refers to the motor weighing only 9lbs. Not the entire bike. Now way would anyone put one of these monsters on a race bike because even with torque arms, it might break apart. I doubt carbon fiber could handle that kind of stress especially in an urban environment.

  • how much$

  • There is no way that entire bike weighs 8.9 pounds. A cannondale supersix team bike weighs 10.1 pounds and that has the lighest componwnts on the market and a carbon frame. Te frame itself weighs 1000g on the cannondale. The frame on that bike with no notor probably weighs a good 7 pounds including the fork. There is no fuckin way that weighs 8.9 pounds.

  • @venskus2009

"This is our most powerful motor, and since it is internally geared, it still comes in at only 9 lbs!"

  • how is that a load of crap? That's how much it weighs

  • @bringdabayback i think the guy means, thats a load of equipment/weight.

  • @bringdabayback there's a lot of haters in the world dont pay attention to them

  • @bringdabayback Is 8.9 lbs the total added weight including the battery pack?

  • @bringdabayback The whole bike weighs 8.9 pounds? You mean the motor...right?

  • @bringdabayback THAT WEIGHT 8 POUNDS, holly shit! lol

  • @bringdabayback - the only question is cost. these kits are $2,300 or more depending on options. Its a big initial investment. I am looking into this anyway. If I can find a set up or piece meal one at 30% to 40% less cost than your supplier than I'll do it. I'm sure it would save me money considering I drive a gas guzzling SUV.

  • @bringdabayback Totally not a load of crap, i got one in the mail today. The weight is correct. Geared hub motors are amazing.

  • where can I buy it?

  • 1000 watts is only 1.34hp... that thing pulls real hard for the hp.. what's the gearing?

  • There are no gears, the hub is the actual motor, its just s slow turning really strong motor, and only 1.34 but remember a petrol engine achieves is rated horse power right on the red line, motors always give out full power regardless of speed, they dont need revving up to give more

  • @Arcona Two errors while you try to say right things: it is geared, it is stated clearly and that is why the hub is so small and good looking with respect to other 1000W hub motors; second they give out full torque (not power) from zero to rated rpm, then the power has reached maximum and start to decrease slowly with increasing speed.Anyway it pulls hard right from the start, that's the concept.

  • @Markitos203 yeah but the average healthy person can peak at 3/4hp. That's enough power to pedal a bike at 25mph or 40km/h.

  • 40mph = 64 km/h :)

  • @Szopen271 I LIKE!

  • how long would the bat last?

  • "can only be legally used OFF ROAD!!!!" so that means the side walk or like not even on streets?

  • If the sidewalk was considered off-road, then dirt bikes would be able to go on sidewalks....unfortunately they're not.

  • Brain fail if hit asphalt @ 40mph with out helmet!

  • Do you know how hard it is to break an electric motor? do you know how easy it is to break a gas motor? do you know how light a electric motor is? do you know how heavy an gas motor is? do you know how loud a gas motor is? do you know how silent an electric motor is? please people, use those brains...

  • on top of that electric motors at full power make the same amount of torque no matter the rpm

  • @ZexxesQuintara electric... not so hard to break

  • About the only real world way you can break an electric motor, is to burn it out by giving it too much juice too fast or too much juice over a long period. Which, by the way, are among the same ways a gas engine can break.

  • what about the batteries???

  • I just checked the info but I was about to say "Hey, this looks like San Luis Obispo!" Right on man, right on

  • if i wanted a MOTOR on a BIKE then i would get a MOTORBIKE lol :/ :/

  • How many miles is a charge good for ???

  • well i'm going to make something like that lol

  • thats fast

  • Seemed pretty fast!

  • i would like to get one of these, but the gas powered ones are just as fast and way less money

  • That's hella tight. I'd rather have gas though. Much easier to work on and cheaper to maintain. What happens if you break that electric motor?
