I once read someone's post sayin' Vangelis is God on earth. I couldn't make THAT kind statement, but I do believe that there is a piece of God in every one of us... and Jesus did say in the New Testament that the Kingdom of Heaven is "within". We all have that ability, I guess Vangelis uses that piece of heaven in him to create untouchable music. Lovely!

I miss the sea, the ocean. I have winter now and will enjoy it as much as Im able this year, but its nice to have this to escape. What I wonder is this an old song? Does this song have history or played at events, its the first time I haver heard it.

I first heard this song in an email, and it immediately captivated me. It's stunning to listen to. Music for me has always been that osasis I can retreat too when stress becomes too much in this world. I have always loved the ocean, the beach and rocky overhangs overlooking the tempest-tossed waves with a dilapidated cottage on its knoll. Thank you for posting this video. well I agree with you, Vangelis has a wide scope of genres in his music. Talking about invasive species was just a funny comment, but if you want to know, Agave americana (known as "pita" here in Spain) is one of the widespread invasive species, specially well distributed in the south of Spain and Canary Islands. :D

You're quite welcome and hopefully you are too young to remember the bombing raids. Almost the entire population of Malta had to go underground to escape the round the clock bombing of the German Luftwaffe.

Thanks again for your comment....I don't remember the bombing raids, but my parent's house has a shelter underneath where they used to escape to during the bombing. When I look at the beauty that still surrounds our island I realize how lucky we are :))

I always wondered why they chose Tiesto to sing at the Athens 2004 opening ceremony. I like him, i like him a lot, but Vangelis is a greek, and he is in another league. This is quality music.
