Lying, no, he was mis-informed. I don't blame him for not knowing because it's a very obscure dub, though. A Malaysian company called Speedy Video dubbed all of the DBZ movies into English. I have no idea WHY at all, I don't know what the intended audience demographic was...especially since their hilariously thick accents make it apparent that the actors themselves don't know much English. Search YouTube for "DBZ Malaysian dub," or click "Fight! part 2" over in the right column.

In 2006, I stumbled across a YouTube video of him aat an anime convention (his own panel). Then I thought, "Hmm...people get paid to voice act, don't they?" Ever since then I wanted to be a voice actor, and two days ago I recieved the mp3 for my first studio-directed voice acting demo, officially making me a voice actor--a rookie voice actor, but a voice actor (it's on my page if anyone's interested). I want to find Sabat and thank him inspiring me to pick the career that I did. You rock, Chris!
