Only addons that have an .exe in them (such as playlist ones wil have trouble) but 99% will work.

X-perl, recount, auctioneer, titan-panel, omen threat meter. All these addons will work as all of them are universal.

If you're gonna use it for editing, note that this does not have firewire port. I would recommend getting the MacBook Pro. It is really awesome! And the cheapest one does not cost a lot more than the MacBook.

WoW runs the same on both Windows and Mac, it's just up to your preference or situation. For me, I already spent about $60 on Civ 4 + expansions on Windows, so I'll be using Boot Camp for WoW as well. If you aren't tied down to Windows, though, WoW Mac version will run just fine. Same graphics, almost the same features (some mods aren't out for Mac yet, but there are plenty,) etc.

WoW 30~ 80 fps in certain areas, lowest 30 fps.

Call of duty 4 20~ 30 FPS * 1024 resolution.

Warcraft 3 Frozen throne over 90 fps.

all games were run at highest settings,

also played command and conquer 3 but, the game doesnt run too smooth on highest settings, i would suggest

lowering everything, to about medium.

So this weekend I purchased a 22" LG monitor to hookup to my new MacBook here and I must say I am very pleased with the results. Our guild did drunk KARA and it was awesome! FPS was never lower then 35. I do however boot up with only the 22" monitor and not running both.

Was this using the 9600M or the 9600M GT? (both of which are built into the laptop) And what resolution were you playing at?

I might add that The Burning Crusade isn't 5 years old. It came out on January 16 of '07, which is not even two years ago. Also, although Shattrath city's graphics don't match the graphics of some other games, you don't have 100 other players standing right next to you in CoD4 or Oblivion. I would love to see the frame-rate in WotLK when it's released.
