Im 15 and I have started training for BUDs and I hope to become a SEAL someday and reading many books about SEALs and studying about them many stories of SEALs have inspired me but most of all Marcus Luttrell's story. I hope to serve just like every SEAL who has given thier lives for this country.

We took the pictures posted with our Barrett and he loved it....of course...what sniper wouldnt. We are not friends and I have not seen him since. As you can imagine he is bombed with speaking request and most likely he enjoys laying low when home. My son attended the USNA and everyone of the young men and women I met there were outstanding and thank you.

The M99 has enough weight behind the forarm to make it well balanced and not even remotely difficult to shoulder. Try the same with a piece of crap AR50. Nice weapon and I'm sure a nice fella, but dont make it seem like it takes a real feat of heroism to hold it.

Well with match ammo me personally the moa is around 6 to 10 in at 1000 yrds that is just me i have done better but i would say on average 6 to 10 is about right but i have good days and bad days some days i really suck. But if you practice with ut and get past the flinching when you pull the trigger you'll get some good groups even at long range. Even with the barrett ammo its still very good for groups at range once you know how it flies you can nail good groups.
there are people that claim they are inaccurate...thats great for ball ammo. not to mention is a semi auto rifle. Im sure you do have to get past that, i shoot a .300 win mag and it kicks like a bitch. I think mine might kick a little worse considering the weight and lack of a muzzle brake. Im just trying to figure out whats up with my gun. I dont know if my scope is out or my stock and barrel need to be changed. ill have to do more testing on it.
Mcmillian makes some good stocks but they are pricey check out Blackhawks website and they have the axiom recoil reducing stocks not sure the price off the top of my head but they are cheaper than mcmillian. Yeah the muzzle brake helps plus the barrelsprings take up most of the recoil also thats why it feels like a 12 ga. when you shoot it.
yea...my gun was one of those things where i saw the price and the bore condition and thought to myself...why would i ever pass this up...i think the stock is killing the accuracy because its a cheap synthetic with no bedding...and the forend is touching and putting pressure on the barrel.
Yeah you would be better off and a lot happier with the accuracy if you got a new stock. It sucks and i know its agrivating when your rifle is screwed up.

39 in BUDS? That sounds fishy since the age cut off is 28. Army Special Forces (aka Green Berets) do tend to be older because they deliberately recruit older more seasoned soldiers due to the nature of the work they do (if I'm preaching to the choir please disregard).

The M99 has enough weight behind the forarm to make it well balanced and not even remotely difficult to shoulder. Try the same with a piece of crap AR50. Nice weapon and I'm sure a nice fella, but dont make it seem like it takes a real feat of heroism to hold it.

Well with match ammo me personally the moa is around 6 to 10 in at 1000 yrds that is just me i have done better but i would say on average 6 to 10 is about right but i have good days and bad days some days i really suck. But if you practice with ut and get past the flinching when you pull the trigger you'll get some good groups even at long range. Even with the barrett ammo its still very good for groups at range once you know how it flies you can nail good groups.

there are people that claim they are inaccurate...thats great for ball ammo. not to mention is a semi auto rifle. Im sure you do have to get past that, i shoot a .300 win mag and it kicks like a bitch. I think mine might kick a little worse considering the weight and lack of a muzzle brake. Im just trying to figure out whats up with my gun. I dont know if my scope is out or my stock and barrel need to be changed. ill have to do more testing on it.

Mcmillian makes some good stocks but they are pricey check out Blackhawks website and they have the axiom recoil reducing stocks not sure the price off the top of my head but they are cheaper than mcmillian. Yeah the muzzle brake helps plus the barrelsprings take up most of the recoil also thats why it feels like a 12 ga. when you shoot it.

yea...my gun was one of those things where i saw the price and the bore condition and thought to myself...why would i ever pass this up...i think the stock is killing the accuracy because its a cheap synthetic with no bedding...and the forend is touching and putting pressure on the barrel.

yea i went to town on that stock trying to get it to freefloat but apparently going at it for hours with heavy grit sand paper is not enough.

Yeah you would be better off and a lot happier with the accuracy if you got a new stock. It sucks and i know its agrivating when your rifle is screwed up.

39 in BUDS? That sounds fishy since the age cut off is 28. Army Special Forces (aka Green Berets) do tend to be older because they deliberately recruit older more seasoned soldiers due to the nature of the work they do (if I'm preaching to the choir please disregard).
