I thought they were going to produce a game where you were inside the mechs and not commanding them.

Dunno about everyone else, but to me this seems like a nice blend of the newer ac games and the older ones with some chromehounds tactics mixed in there. Btw, I hated chromehounds but liked the tactics IDEA, the just kinda screwed up with it. Maybe my oppiniins biased though cuz I been with ac since day one.

I miss the times of AC2 and AC3 era games, where there was actually a sense of weight to your mechs, and it felt like your firepower actually did something. The gameplay has just been diluted beyond recognition.

@xJONROBSONx the ps2 era ac games were great, but it only makes sense that they're changing things up a bit. "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" is nice and all but there are TEN GAMES of essentially the exact same thing. if you 'miss the times of ac2 and ac3 era games' then go play ac2 and ac3.

@Dhashizhi You can be in a small squad with large amount of players. Battlefield has just that. In a 64 player (PC version of the game) you can have squads that are 4 or 8 players large. You can turn All-Team chat off with a single button.

@rizhall Multiplayer is going to be going 24/7, so I'm 99.9% sure they have their own servers. The game is basically made more for the multiplayer experience. I'm pretty certain they'll have all those kinks worked out.
