Of course it's growling. You have it caged up and are taking its only personal space with your fat annoying hand. "OMG, OMG, that's so cute! Look at bunny growl, bunny is cute even though it's really pissed, I like bunnies, let me cage you up bunny wunny and get you angry by teasing you over and over while I poke at you and film you growling".
Haha! Aww! I just got a bunny yesterday and she looks just like this! She has black around each eyes, black ears, a black stripe down her nose and tail, a couple spots on her back and a black stripe going from her butt up to about half of her back. She's cute and I named her April (:
try taking the rabbit out of the cage, they usually stop being aggressive like that once you are holding them. they submit if you put your hand on their head then pick them up. they growl out of instinct to protect themselves and their turf. so they aren't mad at you its just genes. the only reason why i know this is because i had one and my mom is a vet.
Do you ever let her out? The cage seems so tiny. Rabbits need to run. Try an x-pen. They are awesome and big enough for your bun and very inexpensive. She will thank you for it. Go to or look up any Bunny Rescue place. They sale them for cheap and they look nicer. You can get a wealth of info. Try googling the Bunny Bunch in Montclair California. They have info on the health of your bunny, vets, toys oh and free nail clippings at any rescue where u live. By the way, don't let her eat any carpet!
lmao they hate it if you touch their whiskers mine used to chase my little brother biting his ankles. Carrot peelings from dinner usually settle them down again :D
My bunny scratched me today, because I stuck my paw in HER cage, and she quite rightly got angry. When I have pms or just want to be alone, I get snappy with people who pester me. So now I just don't stick my hand where it's not wanted, simples! lol x
lol funny bunny. she looks a little annoyed, that's all.
my current bunny, even when she's super mad she would lunge with her nose, but she would not for her life bite me. bunnies are so sweet :)
and well, if she's any more mad she'll pee on my bed (ON PURPOSE! she's litter trained). this one time i poked her and bothered her too often, that she ran directly to my bed to wee on it. i never bugged her so much again :p
Oh. Sometimes when I change Sunshine's litter, she kinda lunges at me and makes funny sounds. I should probably put her in her pen when I do that. Sometimes I stick my hand in to pet her also. She does not seem to mind this as long as she knows what I am doing.
According to our Vet, bunnies do that when they feel threatened. She said we should never stick our hand inside the cage, b/c it's akin to sticking your hand in their "hole."
They need one place that no one else touches, which the Vet suggested be their cage.
Our bunny likes carrots and banana cake; which is fine with me, since I like neither of those things-especially carrots. (\(\ (. .) (..)(..)O
Ha, yeah, it doesn't look like she wants you messing her territory up... but it also, at times, looks like she's putting her head down and pushing her nose under your hand, a sure sign that she's requesting to be groomed. And a lot of buns don't take too kindly to when the request/ command is ignored, which could in turn further explain the 'boxing'. =/
Kind of like she's saying: "Please leave those strands alone and pay attention to me, human!"
my bunny is so funny i named it funnybunny it would fall when walking and fall backwards when stood on its legs LOL it died <:^(
well my sisters bunny grew with outstaning health anyways ima record my sisters bunny and show you how this bunny growls its like its screaming with anger like insane
well im sure your bunny is nice too
my sisters bunny is insane for food she scratches wehn we get her bowl to feed her we feed her like 6 times a day to get rid of her hunger but she is still hungry
because of where rabbits' eyes are they don't like being petted from the front- that's their blind spot. try to approach from the side, if possible. Avoid touching them below their nose! behind the ears and down the back is always a sweet spot ---
this may be what's causing your rabbit's aggression.
Yeah, about 6 years ago, my sister had this female rabbit, and any thing in front of her face she would snort, grumble (sounded like "nam-nam-nam")and attack (bite). She's also fight her sister rabbit if they were both set loose in the yard at the same time. Maybe the rabbit should have been nutered.
My pet bunnies licked me on my hands a lot :3 what im seeing in this video the your rabbit maybe little angry :O

can bunnies act like cats? I mean are they trainable to poop in a sand box?
zueq 3 years ago
not sand box. In the spec toilet for rabbits. He can eat or breathe in the sand and then he will die, so do not put sand in the box!!!

youre not supposed to stick your fingers under its nose like its a dog. thats a rabbits blind spot, so theyll attack.
