think about it though, originally dogs were wild wolves, and cats were...well, wild and still in many ways still are. how did they become "domesticated"? the lions playing is much like dogs and cats playing. once you understand their body language, you can probably determine when they're being aggressive or playful. people that are afraid of dogs will freak out when my dogs start growling and biting playfully. just a hunch.
