  • Maybe but i dont think so (Lynch Said it) there will be an Others Season.

    It would be Great!

  • such an amazing show!!

  • It's funny that the word "fantastic" exists in pretty much every European language thanks to the old Greeks.

  • i'm 48 years old ,,,,,,, 22 years ago but i love twin peaks forever

  • God! this is was a great show but what gets me mad about this show is (SPOILER) we nver know Coopers fate

  • beautiful intro

  • commovent

  • Die beste Serie, die jemals gedreht wurde!!! Einfach unglaublich ...

  • Przejmujemy ?

  • Happy birthday Lynch!

  • Thumbs up if "Psych" brought you here.

  • music is from heaven. i, as an archangel, can testify to that.

  • The soundtrack of this show has got me in here.

  • more and more than beautiful....

  • Really beautiful. You would never think this is the opening to an "evening soap" about life in a Pacific Northwest logging town. Otherworldly.

  • The high rating in Russian "Fantastika" means out of the ordinary, exquisit and etc :-)

  • gives me goosebumps....my new obsession, my dad showed this to me and I'm totally addicted!!! Can't believe it didn't have more episodes than it did. Great television.

  • oh man, memories ...

  • I was 10 years old when this show aired on TV and it scared me for life

  • @ivanovsd i was just about to write the same! got creeps from seeing the movie intro...

  • sounds like from silent hill

  • Beautifully haunting.

  • Even now, after 20 yrs - the movie is still alive in thousands of hearts all over ther world, and the piece of music brings back those memories. Can u also feel this endless vast in the heart when hearing the music? What is the reason of that? Answer.

  • This intro is strangely soothing.

  • Lol it has a lot of views and its awesome!!!

  • One of the best tv series of my teenage...a great hit...I allways asked myself..and if all can be magic.?

  • This intro seems different, is it the pilot episode because I don't remember the log on the other intros.

  • can't you read Pysski, Komrade?

  • I tried to increase the quality up from 240p, then I took an arrow to the knee...

  • please mr. lynch. make a new awesome tv show. love twin peaks, too bad it had to end after two seasons

  • ken block send me here :D

  • Epic.

  • For some reason they played this song at the library after they announced they would be closing in 5 minutes.

  • @flarn2006 i loled, i don't know why

  • When i hear this song i just get kind of sad inside, but still happy, its hard to discribe, but this song is truly amazing

  • I was scared by Bob when i was little :))))

  • i think its awesome that the top rated comment is in a language that i cant understand. that proves what an international following this show has!

  • @depp0000000000

david lynch is an internationally recognized artist - it isn't really that awesome

  • @depp0000000000 It says fantastic!

  • @depp0000000000 it just means "fantastic"

  • @depp0000000000 It means fantastic.

  • @depp0000000000 It means "Fantastic!" :)

  • @depp0000000000 In case you were wondering, though, it's Russian for "Fantastic!"

  • @jaddaxia google translate says it's Ukrainian for Fantastic o_O

  • @depp0000000000 yeah, in finland that was really good tv-program.

    Snowy greetings from Finland!!!

  • Great song

  • My favorite serial ever

  • This song is so many things at once. It's peaceful, mysterious, flowing, sad, and inviting.

  • david lynch is the best

  • Angelo Badalamenti all the way :)

  • nice

  • Film HISTORIA... :) Szacun! i pozdro! ;)

  • It's a miracle this show was actually on major network television! A shame it was a little too smart for that venue....would love to see Lynch due something for Showtime or HBO now that they both have such compelling series.

  • Best serial ever!

  • Wow, the music is way more indepth, nicely paced, and emotional than the shit spewed out today.

  • Woke up to this on the radio today. <3 KEXP

  • Simply awesome sound track to an already awesome series.

  • nasz kanal :)

  • I think i die a little more inside, every time i hear this song. I think i might have a terminal illness or something.

  • ok już jest nasz...

  • my girl friend used to watch this lol it remind me of her ,

the music is beutifull like her i do miss her alot...

  • best series ever

  • love it ♥

  • I - vi, I - vi, Theme From A Summer Place has the same sentimental feeling. Maybe because of the I - vi - ii - V. But the 50's Duane Eddy guitar sure helps.

  • I think American Horror Story has elements of Twin Peaks. Btw to this day the character of BOB scares the shit outta me.

  • ;_;

  • @dman4357 It one of the best shows you'll ever see... The worst thing to ever happen to 90s US TV was the cancellation of Twin Peaks.

If you love Alan Wake, or other eerie, dark humoured shows... This is for you! :D

  • is this show good? i really liked Alan Wake, and i heard it is a lot like twin peaks, so now im interested

  • @dman4357 Watch it. It will change your life.

  • Is this series really worth watching? I really liked "Blue Velvet", but had my problems with "Mulholland Drive". Not that I didnt like it but it was a bit too much "art" in it, compared to the other movie. So is Twin Peaks more like "Mulholland Dr" or "Blue Velvet"?

  • @Klever89 It's definitely worth watching. I've never seen "Blue Velvet", and I've only seen parts of "Mulholland Drive", but I do know that "Twin Peaks" is a terrific show. The protagonist (Agent Cooper) is just so likeable, until the end (I won't give away too much). Netflix actually has the first and second seasons.

  • @Klever89

it's better than either, in my opinion. give it a few episodes before you pass judgement, though; i know a few people who've had trouble getting into it. as far as how "artsy" it is, it starts off (relatively) normal and gets weirder and weirder.

  • I tried to watch The Killing but it was too much like this and not as good

  • all tv nerds know this is the most relaxing sound in the world

  • Notice how many of the cast have daughters who became successful actresses? Peggy Lipton's daughter is Rashida Jones, Russ Tamblyn's daughter is is Amber Tamblyn, and Mary Jo Deschanel's daughters are Emily and Zooey Deschanel.

  • oh my god i can NOT handle this

  • This movie and song was my favorite at this tine in primary school Strzybnica South Poland the land of Forest ha ha

  • More like skip every scene where Heather Graham's lame character shows up.

  • I envy all you people who get to watch this series for the first time. Hope you don't like closure however.

  • @marsneedstowels That's me ! Have seen all of David Lynch's movies and have always looked forward to seeing TP. Of course I don't expect closure .... or even much meaning ! But Lynch finds a place in your head that other film-makers can't reach , doesn't he ?

  • well I am always in the mood for some fun

  • Legendary

  • By far the best tv series of all time!

  • Watching this now. I'm a big fan of Stephen King, Silent Hill, Jacob's Ladder, and Dean Koontz, and I always heard this show referenced in the same context. Definitely like it so far, especially this theme. Wonder why this is so popular in Japan of all places?

  • Wat een serie Twin Peaks !!!! En Special Agent Dale Cooper, dat was mijn favoriet !!!!

  • Tu Polska!

    Przejmujemy ten kanał :D

  • @TruePeggyBrown Hahahahahaha fucken faggot.

  • @TruePeggyBrown heh racja stary pozdro !!!

  • @TruePeggyBrown Dziewczyna, która lubi Twin Peaks? Co się dzieje z tym światem? :(

  • @TruePeggyBrown That's all I'm saying baby:) Taki ze mnie ciemnogrodziański mohemor:D

  • @booyahz Your soul is dead. I hope you're aware of that. 8-\

  • La mejor cabecera de la historia.

  • hiya Hey guys

  • This show has the greatest intro of all time.

  • What memories. My wife would come home after working her shift. I would have her supper ready in time for us both to watch twin peaks. Our 3 year old son would sometimes sneak down stairs whilst we where in the kitchen franticly getting ready to settle down Then we would hear him shouting ti peas on ti peas on. One mad rush then for one of us to get him back to bed. fortunately twin peaks was repeated through the weak. He never watched it but he must have heard us talk about it. Happy days.

  • I Love Twin Peaks, I brought the DVD Box Set on recommendation from my buddy in the states and i enjoy it soo much.. :)

  • funeral party by the cure

  • which is a very good thing I love this

  • sounds literally exactly like a song straight out of final fantasy 7

  • @TonyTomatez No, a song straight out of Final Fantasy 7 sounds like this. This was years before it, and this show is awesome, and the Final Fantasy series is fucking terrible. A great show like that definitely wouldn't take any inspiration from that horrible Japanese bullshit even if it came after it.

  • all 100 and 9 suck

  • ff7

  • @Mrmys1900 Is gay.

  • Check out my channel for a lovely chill out remix of the Twin Peaks theme! :)

  • I'm pretty sure this is how the 90's were born.

  • Everyday they'd play this song where I'd work, and it was the most depressing thing I'd ever heard. For the longest time I wondered what it was from, until the other day when I started to watch Twin Peaks lol.

  • I used to listen to this everyday!!

  • Love 90's !

  • hey i just realized a dope rapper sampled the start ---esoteric-perfect person

  • Music from heaven; made by angels!!!!! angelo badalamenti is the Best!!!!!

  • everytime I here Donna say James I want to cut my ears off

  • I still don't know who killed Laura Palmer...

  • They have an awesome TP shirt on Teefury today. Incl. Owl, peaks, donuts etc.

  • @chevkoch

    Hehe I bought it.

  • @Mrster Haha, brilliant. I'm usually not one to spam stuff, but I thought other TP fans might geek out on this as much as I did :) I bought two.

  • hahaha!

  • Great music. Written by Michael Jackson.

  • @pontusgardinger

lol no it wasn't; it's Angelo Badalamenti

  • @austinthebookworm5 No, Michael Jackson wrote this and the soundtrack to Blue Velvet, Fire Walk With Me and Mulholland Drive.

  • @pontusgardinger

are you high? read the description; study the show. You are WRONG.

  • @austinthebookworm5 I'm a Twin Peaks fan. Michael also wrote The World Spins, Laura Palmers Love Theme and Rockin' Back Inside My Heart. But it was seen as being to commercial having Michael Jackson writing music for such an artistic and off beat show, so they credited it to Angelo Badalamenti. That's what they did with Blue Velvet, The Cowboy and the Frenchman, Industrial symphony nr. 1, Wild at heart, On The Air, Fire walk with me, the straight story, lost highway and Mulholland Drive too.

  • @pontusgardinger

    Bullshit

  • @austinthebookworm5 Yes, it is total Bullshit. Ofcourse Michael Jackson didn't write this.

  • @pontusgardinger

of course... just so you know body language and tone of voice does not translate over the internet, so I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or you actually thought that :P

  • @austinthebookworm5 That's the art of being a troll, even though most of them, like me, suck at it.

  • If you guys like this, you should check out the show LOOKING FOR GRACE!!! Google it and check out the homepage.

  • @fte26

So what you mean to say is that you're basing the entire series on the first episode and your low attention span?

    Sounds like an enlightened opinion.

  • This music is like a dream..

  • Never actually seen it, but this intro makes me want to check it out.

  • Love it, favorit ;) Have it on dvd, just love it

  • I think it was inspired by Gymnopedie by Erik Satie

  • TEMAZO y SERIAZA.

  • Everything about this show is outstanding. Fuck the audiences across America who allowed such a masterpiece to end abruptly and prematurely. Oh and I highly suggest getting the Twin Peaks soundtrack if you like the show. It's amazing to fall asleep to.

  • @PsychoNinjaFreak I used to fall asleep on the Twin Peaks soundtrack since I was 5 and I still do, it never gets old. A masterpiece indeed.

  • @DemureViixen Me too.

  • I wrote this music.

  • @6dark6kid6

I just happened to do the same thing.

  • absolute masterpiece

  • "Are we falling in love? "Quanti ricordi mi legano a questa serie, in Italia fu un successo enorme.. melodia dolcissima, anni spensierati che non torneranno più...

  • re-watch twin peaks and skip every donna and james scene. its so much better

  • @yosoytacoseasoning

    lol so true

  • @yosoytacoseasoning haha yeah these scenes its like

  • @yosoytacoseasoning haha yeah these scenes its like

    watch?v=4eYSpIz2FjU

  • @yosoytacoseasoning skip when billy zane shows up and skip that little orphan kid. Skip the james story where he falls in love with the rich girl. And then it becomes the best show in history.

  • @yosoytacoseasoning uh, no, their cardboard esch innocence is one of the weird elements of the show that works on a lot of levels.

  • @yosoytacoseasoning I totally agree, I liked James a little, but I could not stand Donna after she became a Laura Palmer wanna-be. And after Laura's murder is solved, they pretty much have no place in the story.

  • @yosoytacoseasoning

Lol, yeah they are the most annoying characters, but then you wouldn't get the parody of soap operas as much.

  • @yosoytacoseasoning and/or most of the stuff happening in the second season like Andy and Dick Tremayne or Ben Horne's civil war or the Packard stuff (obviously keep the important stuff). If only Lynch directed them all :(

  • @yosoytacoseasoning OMG! that;s such a good recommendation. that would rid the show of its lameness (not that I think it's too lame in total).
