  • Clean lookin stacks....

  • gotta love the sound stacks make =)

  • Nice stacks man sounds good.

  • sounds pretty damn good...check out my dads 6.7 dpf delete kit on his 07 ...were still deciding what tuner to use so help us out with ur opinions...thanks!

  • @Hennen625 i would put a smarty junior on it it will keep from throwing the codes give you 100 more hp and torque if hes not looking to dog it or anything the smarty junior is the way to go unlike bully dog edge and banks you can back the smarty off your enghine and you wont even be able to tell it has ever had a programer my bud took his to the dodge dealer with a blown motor took out the smarty and they never could tell he ever used a programer

  • dose this truck have a strait pipe? if so what about all the O2 sencor how do u go about makein it work for a strait pipe?

  • must be an optical illusion... but those don't look as big as my single 7 inch...

  • what was up with the start up. like it died first or u didnt turn the key al the way?

  • sweet sound

  • it sounds like my boat that has twin CAT diesels

  • so hows that diesel particle filter workin for ya?

  • How do you stack plywood in your bed?

  • @fixitmekanik412 Why is it that everyone thinks people with pickups spend all their time hauling 4x8 sheets of plywood around? How many times do you have to go to the lumber yard and pickup up plywood? 3-4 times a week?

  • @NeilLB7 true. For the most part I haul garbage in mine.

  • 6.7 sound how a real Diesel engine should sound like the 5.9 cummins is okay but i fall in love when i hear 6.7 cummins turbo sound like a real diesel truck

  • @wfortier502 The 5.9 and 6.7 are real engines as far as I can tell. They both burn Diesel and each have their own sound. Just remember the 5.9 started it all and is still the best diesel one can buy.

  • damn that thing sounds good

  • l-6 engine cummins???

  • @acuarofilio well..... that would be what he means when he says cummins

  • Do you still have your dpf and cat in yhere still and nox filter? Tuner? Whats all done to the truck

  • u have a muffler in them?

  • looks sick, but what a waste of truck box

  • i'm just sayin...the 6.7's don't sound right

  • @bighunterman77 still a lot better than the v8 configs tho i think....but ya 5.9s sound way better

  • @2009grizzly700 yes there is such thing as a 6.7 cummins there 2007.5 and up they have all the no pollution crap on them

  • get rid of them clamps and weld it

  • If you haven't seem a 6.7 Cummins your retarded cuz they exist I have one an 2008 6.7 Cummins!!!!

  • theres no such thing as 6.7 cummins... unless you get every mod a truck can have.

  • Sounds good, straight piped or cat back?

  • @tazereli yeah cause you can so put a true dual on a striaght six engine LOL and you think your a trucker? brush up on your mechanic knowledge there

  • @AxeofDeath666 you can if you have twins or triplets.. ive seen it

  • @AxeofDeath666 technically you can with split manifolds or twin or triplet turbos.. but in tazereli's case pop open a hood on even the big trucks.. chances are they arent true dual.. now a days true dual exhaust is a custom job.. and not usually up to epa standards

  • @andrewburbach I have never seen manifolds sold split, so im guessing in a straight 6 diesel it obviously aint good if they arent sold split. you will find it on the v8 diesels or gas engines most likely. I have never seen a split manifold on a cummins. just saying

  • @AxeofDeath666 touche... i guess i can revert to the custom theory.. you can do what ever you want with a plasma cutter and a mig welder, if you know what you are doing of course

  • Comment removed

  • badass!!!

  • Do you ever have any trouble with rain or water getting into the exhaust? The reason i ask is because i'm wanting to put straight stacks on my truck but figured the rain water would get into the pipe and eventually rust the exhaust within time.. Just wondering if you've ever had any trouble?

  • That sounds so good that it deserves to be in a boat

  • diesel right?

  • idiot lol

  • what all do you have into this truck? or is it just the stacks?

  • I can honestly say that the 6.7L Cummins is the best sounding with stacks on it. It's got that deep growl about it, that make's it a cummins. Cummins all the way!

  • stacks are too short

  • Those sure don't look like 7's ! I have 6's on mine and they look bigger than those. But Ya it soundds sick !

  • did it help your fuel economy

  • every diesel made is a straight thats why they have so much torq any semi you see has a straight motor same with dodge chevy and ford all straight for the torq

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew You are a dumbass. There are MANY v-type diesels. Power stroke and duramax are both v-8's, just to name a few. Please try to know something about what you are talking about before you try to sound like an expert on here.

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew I had a '85 ford that had a 6.9 international in it it was a v-8...... Powerstroke v-8, Duramax v-8, now a cummins thats a straight 6...I also had a Bob cat that had a straight 4 in it.. A friend of mine has a chevette that has a straight 3 in it....

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew ur not very bright are u?

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew you are bat shit crazy if you really think that

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew Your an idiot, many semi's out there have a V8 diesel in them, dont believe me? Mack E9 V8, Cummins VT903 V8, Intl. made a V8 for thier trucks and the 1456 (I think) International tractor, Scania V8, then already metioned, Duramax 6.6 V.8s, International IDI 6.9 and 7.3 V8, Powerstroke 7.3, 6.0, 6.4, and 6.7 V8s....... list just keeps goin on, so before posting a stupid comment learn somethin, and belive me, V8's do have torque ;)

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew ur retarted

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew hahaha oh buddy, you coulnt be more WRONG. there are many v8 diesels. How about the Diesels in the Ford and Chevy pickups?

  • @TractorTrailerAndrew well duh!!! Ford and Chevy just make them look like v-8s but theyre really not hahahahahahahaha simple fuck

  • a few words learn to start one two 7.3 stock f350 will be happy to speak to you any day

  • @roadie673 lol that is idiotic

  • I love the truck and all but I just don't like the engine brake it sounds like a power drill.

  • What all did you have to do to your truck as far as emissions, I have a 09 6.7 and looking in to doing stacks or just 5in all the way back. Did you have to add anything so codes would be thrown and should I wait untell my warranty is up. Thanks for the advice.

  • what brand stacks are they

  • they mack v6 and v8 got a v8 in my lawn terackter man the best one mad pull ever thang

  • @kriegerjohn your right white smoke is bad often from injector problems or intake gasket is gone but in this case the truck was smoking more grey which was because there was raw fuel in the combustion chamber and it wasn't quite burnt yet

  • Stacks look cool, but I just can't see giving up that usable bed space.

  • hey dmcyam, cummins has make a V-8 its was the 903 and it was in the late 60's or early 70's and it did not pan out to good for big trucks, some people liked them but they sounded like crap, but you are wrong because they did make a V-8, type it in here on youtube, you will see an old peterbilt 2 axle white with blue stripes , it is an old T&T truck from Lodi CA they had several

  • they call em cummins because everytime i see a nice one, youll find me cummin

  • And they complain about ricers' exhaust systems.^^ Well, i have to admit this truck sounds good.

  • that sounds absolutely mean! Like a big kenworth

  • Thats cool man

  • @huskerO11 that was the operator smarty, not the trucks fault

  • how much do stacks cost to put on, total amount

  • @LaZyLuKe25 depends... you can get a smoke kit for various trucks for $660 and up... that doesn't include chips or anything else that you might need... and doesn't include installation

  • runs like a tiger:D

  • sounds like a school bus

  • cummins has an over the road v-8 not in production anymore, but they used to be around in the early 90's

  • do u have the dpf?

  • i dont no nothin about stacks but dont a lottta water get in those?

  • @dodgetrucks3500 when your driving no because if it does the pipe is so hot the water just boils and evaporates or if you get the stacks that bend at the top they dont take in water at all

  • @dodgetrucks3500 yeah, it doesn't hurt anything cause it won't reach the engine but that sooty black shitty water looks lovely all over the clean paint when you start it

  • stacks look good on a semi, not a pickup. they look better with the exhaust underneath

  • Gotta love the deep hollow sound of the 6.7 with the DPF delete!!

  • Is this straight piped? And do all the 6.7s come with that BlueTec crap?

  • the starter even sounds different

  • i prefer a single stack cummins.

  • awesome

  • @warsaw28 so what you think a powerjoke can do better?

  • hey i have a 2006 dodge ram and i was wondering if you could tell what kind of stack these are and how they sound while driving????

  • thats badass the next truck i by is going to be a dodge with the cummins and i to do stacks like that

  • @ranger12392 Be ready for a disappointment.

  • Pardon my noob question but do you have any problems with water getting into the stacks?

  • u shldnt hav a problem with that usually they hav a internal flap so when truck isnt running it closes so u dnt get water thats how my stax r on my dodge

  • that sounds sick dude

  • The "Jake" break came from a Jacobs break yes.

The rigs that have an engine break has a 2 or 4 stage. it actually drops out 2 or 4 cylinders. no fuel to them when its on. so either you have 2 dead cylinders dragging or 4.

The exhaust break is usually an after thought. its a restricter on the exhaust. They dont work as well as a "jake" and they sound like crap.

Most buses and some "city" trucks use them. they are not as annoying in town.

  • @jrocker74 trucks can use an engine brake on 2,4 or all 6 cylinders fyi...

  • when you do stacks do you still have to worry bout the back presure?

  • not with a diesel no if it was gas yes

  • music to my ears!

  • very clean

  • What did you pay for the stacks I'm looking to get the same ones?

  • it depends you can order them in sizes from 4'' - 8'' anywhere from $80- $ 280

  • i like the 5.9l better

  • yeah i think 5.9s sound better than the 6.7s....but that's just me

  • thanks for the lowdown about a jake brake

  • ha

    i got 8 inchers on my 1993 F350 6.9 IDI

  • ok i hate how people call it a jake brake... its not a jake brake.. people are alway slike yeah jake brake hence the name jacobs brake.. well in a tractor its not called a jake brake.. its a engine brake.. and most have the stage one and two... the one in the pick up is an exhaust brake, not an engine brake. i know the big rigs got the enginebrake nicknamed jake brake because it was the only one out at the time, and then they came out with the exhaust brake, please correct me if im wrong.

  • @Built4ford who the f5ck cares, u dont ever know what ur talk'n bout

  • @kowpieunleashed considering 6 people agreed with me and another guy said the same thing... i would say im correct. oh and hate to break it to you but the new 6.7 powerstroke has an actual engine brake ;)

  • @Built4ford wow ur grammar is so bad i cant even tackle all the things that are misleading or untrue in your statement

  • looks like 5 inch pipeing... where did you get that everyone sells 4 to whatever size you want your "tips"

  • silverline makes a kit that is 5 inch turbo back with anything from 5 inch to 8 inch stacks

  • lol ppl argue to much my dad has an '03 cummins and i have an '01... i feel cool cus i love my cummins

  • wow a truck with jake brake!!! i got to get me one!!!

  • 5.9 sound better

  • which one

  • talking about the whole cummins doesn't make V engines what about he V16 in the generator at my work

  • cummins has not ever made a v6 or v8 cummins ever it always been a I6

  • Beg to differ on that look into a 302 cummins

it was in a dump truck my dad worked on ...LOL

  • how many cylinders are in the 5 9

  • 6, and 6 on this as well

  • all dodge cummins trucks are inline 6 XD gotta love em'

  • 6 inline.. its an I6 turbo diesel

  • @kriegerjohn i agree .. they made alot of v engines such as .... K38 V12 - 38 L K50 V16 - 50 L QSK19 I6 - 19 L QSK23 I6 - 23 L QSK45 V12 - 45 L QSK50 V16 - 50 L QSK60 V16 - 60 L QSK78 V18 - 78 L V6 - 5.8/6.2 L V6 - 9.6L V8 - 7.7/8.3/9.1 L V8 - 12.9 L V8 - 14.8 L V12 - 28 L dmcyam you should go learn your engines a bit more ... cuaz they also made I-4's ... just so ya know
  • @kriegerjohn they also had the 903 which was a v8. cummins has also made v12's like the 1710

  • @kriegerjohn they are also putting them in the 1500's in the next few years i read. ( the v6)

  • @kriegerjohn your correct there have been cummins 302 diesels, as well as 350 5.7L chevrolet diesels as well. not very commen but they were produced none the less

  • Back in the 60s cummins made a V6, and cummins made a V8 that was 903 cubic inches and 555 cubic inches. The 555 cummins can fit in pickups and u can get real jake brakes for those.

  • Cummins has made thousands of V8s. Search out 504's and 555's. Both are turbo'd V8's

  • @dmcyam theres a V8 cummins bud Cummins 903 thats where a lot of Hp freaks for fords get a 8cyl P-pump for the powerstrokes

  • @dmcyam Actually cummins did make a V8. It was the 903. It was put in rigs back in the 70's. However, you are right, there was never any put in dodges that were v8's or v6's

  • @dmcyam lol take a look at a michigan payloader. i run a v6 and a v8 cummins. michigan 55 and 75b

  • @dmcyam if you don't know shit, don't say shit :)

  • @dmcyam always inline 6? check out cummins 4bt, inline 4

  • @dmcyam all the cummins that are used in the rams are stright 6, look at a cummins K-50 thats not a I6. a cummins 903 is a V8 engine...they make more then just I6's

  • @dmcyam your right they have always been an inline 6 cylinder the only onther motor they made that wasnt a 6 was the bt4 cummins witch was a turbo 4 cylinder there nice littler motors too cummins has always been a hell of a engine they just picked a shitty truck to put them in if they could start putting them in the new chevrolets that would be nice but dodges are nowhere what they used to be

  • @Dawson77k20 dont get me wrong i would drive the hell out of the 04-06 dodge truck but it has to have the 5.9cummins i dont like the 6.7 that much but ive never had any experience with them i have always owned or either worked on the 5.9 but the way i see it no matter what they put it in its still a cummins and its still gonna be worth buying

  • some of you kids should be shot. im cummins certified ( i can make a video showing my certs if you adolescent's care that much) but anyways, there are no "headers" there's an exhaust manifold though... also chevyblows, liter's have nothing to do with how many pistons you have buddy. ever heard of a 5.0L v12? of course you haven't kid.

  • there's 3.5L v12's

  • cummins is developing some v6 diesels still on the drawing board as far as i know. but im waiting for the 2010 ford with the ford "scorpion" diesel engine. ford no longer deals with international diesels in there trucks. the new scorpion 6.7 ford diesel out 2010!!!

  • fuckin idiots, your exhaust comes off your turbo, stop acting like you know what your talking about

  • you guys must have been skull fucked as children. first off a cummins is an inline 6 meaning it has one manifold not a header a fuckin manifold the turbo bolts on to the manifold so the exhaust goes through the manifold spools the turbo and then goes into the down pipe and out the exhaust pipe not to difficult to understand

  • They make V-6 and V-8 cummins diesels now..

  • inline 6 dumbass

  • Thats not what dieselpowermag says dumbass

  • im sure you feel awesome knowing that you learn everything about diesels from a magazine... its an inline 6

  • i know they MOST of them now are inline 6, my dad fuckin has one...

  • ohhh im sorry i didnt know daddy had one hahaha im sure you feel awesome

  • i do, dodge is beast.

  • which is better do y pipe or dual stacks(meaning no y pipe )just 2 manifolds going to 2 stacks

  • how many inch pipe is going in to the stacks and what brand are they

  • It would be a 5inch pipe.. I have 6inch stacks on my silverado, and the Y pipe is 5 inch, and the stack is 6inch outlet, with a 5inch bottom.

  • well for one your all stupid...and a 12 or 24 valve cummins or anyother diesel, does not have headers...the exhaust comes off of the turbo...so if your going to act like you know what your talking about. learn something haha

  • So the exhaust comes directly from the turbo and not the head first? you sir are the fucking idiot.

  • LMAO! That would have to be one long ass turbo flange to fit on all 6 cylinders! tomoore88... what a fool.

  • in order to get to the stacks it does come directly from the turbo. it comes from the head then passes through the turbo, passing through the rest of the exhaust system to the stacks. so technically yes it does go from the turbo to the stacks

  • um.... so smoke comes from the turbo not the engine? don't think so bud..

  • yeah you CAN'T buy a stock diesel motor of any type and expect it to get over even 4500 rpm, so ha ha 9000 rpm and your pistons would be killing astronauts on the moon (if your too fucking stupid to know what i mean, it means that your pistons would blast through your headers and shoot into space!) once diesels get to about 4500 rpm.... the pistons kinda start to levitate instead of go up and down....... so after that all hell breaks loose in your motor

  • Is he smart enough to know that they would go through the head and not the headers?

  • to cowsxonxcrack...... you would throw a rod from high rpms and the piston isnt going to shoot out the top of the motor or the exhaust port. you might burn some of it off but if you know anything about motors the wrist pin isnt going to come apart and the entire piston is not going to come apart from the rod unless you got it so hot it melts the wrist pin.

  • @skiracer0093 it won't make it to 9000, simple as that.

  • white smoke on start up wasn good

  • That's before some other parts fell off and that's what they all do !

  • @dickson180 my diesel gives a lil white smoke on start up to. they all do it

  • @BaronRacing123 they all don't do it

  • so can u only put stacks on diesels or wat

  • whats a new dodge retail for $16,000 or so? ford and gmc are like $50,000. but i guess a dakota with a diesel is cool to you

  • DODGE - Eat'n fords and chit'n chevy's

  • @kriegerjohn i thought didge meant

    D ont

    O ver

    D rive

    G randmas

    E ngine

I say this in jest btw

  • @kriegerjohn dodge, eatting gas-shitting trannys is more like it

  • @eerrbb256 Lol, pretty much sums up my dodge experience.

  • @liveloud666 what the hell r u talkn about

  • nice!

and I wonder if theres souch thing as 10' stacks?? I like mudding.

  • for semis

prolly could fit em in a truck like this but itd be a waste of room

  • @jelloman619 wow! 10 foot would be a massive pipe!!!

  • shit dude nice truck cant wait till i get the one i want cuz im trowin som 7 or 8 inchers in the back......

  • I'd put tractor flappers on them they make nice chrome ones that look really nice

  • I've also see them make Stainless Steel Ones. Wish they both looked the same cause Chrome will rust very easily

  • So im guessing you cant haul mulch anymore?

  • ha! funny i know thats the funny part when u put stacks on a work truck

  • Dual purpose buddy ! :)

  • I haul a lot ... ????

  • I believe ya, but how hot does those pipes in the bed get, and does it affect what your hauling?

  • It really depends on the out side temp for real. On a day in the 70-60's you can touch them and it ain't bad. Anything over that I would think about, we had some 100 + degree weather here not to long back and those things got freak'n HOT ! But I am getting a heat shield to drop in the back of it soon it will hav ecut outs for the stacks.... that should help with me being worried about melting things ...LMAO
