@tunglour Glad you like the tone. The instrument is resonant enough to accompany other instruments, but not so loud that it would wake up neighbours if you play it in the middle of the night :)

Beautiful vibrato. The most direct contact from the players' fingers to the chords themselves. Like in a guitar-playing.

Thanks for your comment! The clavichord is the only keyboard instrument where this individual vibrato is possible. The sound on the real instrument has more volume and overtones than what you hear in this video.

I love the fact that you can reproduce the cello effect on the clavichord. Is there any other keyboard instruments where this is possible? and lastly is there a way to get the more bold with more overtones and resonance, or is this the basic clavichord sound?
