This is stilted. And really isn't especially funny. It is done in a style which is almost antithetical to the spirit of The Grateful Dead. What a contrast to the appearance of the Dead on Tom Snyder's show (now on youtube, btw). This "interview" is so much more contrived - a poorly written, pre-arranged comedy sketch (ala SNL), vs. the spontenaity of the interview conducted w/ band members on Snyder's program (which - and it was probably no coincidence - resulted in more authentic humor.)
