I remember when I first got the album in the summer, i completely ignored my family that entire day, and i remember how amazed i was when i first heard this. lol
@MikyWrita Ahhh, that is a transitional opening for Different Sense. I had a rip of the album that had that at the end of Blossoming and had other songs that did that too, but when I got my own copy, it wasnt that way anymore :) That end bit was the beginning of Different Sense
@Dirusubs I dont understand 1 thing. You said "and had other songs that did that too".You mean other songs had the same ending,or what?Cause on my album only this one has that :O
This is seriously the best song on the album. It seems kinda repetitive to the uninitiated, but this is one of their most dynamic works to date. This song has so much going on in it, that I'm able to say that this song is my #1 favorite in the world.
That Statue it supposed to be "Tarani Botatsu" or just "Tara" (i took this info on a DeG Interview) and it's a buddist deity. I really want this wallpaper D: please send it to me!!! there are not very much clear images of this artwork.
I really like DSS, i dont know why so much people dislike it....
I love you!! :D It`s good to know that there still are people thinking about their songs. Not like “brutal music is awesome, no matter how the lyrics are” or “this song is sex” or making fun of the way they pronounce foreign words or whatever.
Regarding the meaning: Good approach!! Someone eating maggots…I`m thinking so, too.
Kyo`s the vocalist, but this doesn`t mean that he sings about himself. The scene could even show someone in a Western country. I mean…fork, spoon and knife.
The scene actually describes him consuming maggots. "When will this bead of rice grow wings?" and "I stuff my face with the rice that's meant to have a taste... I search for the wings" Rice- which- if you look at closely- resembles the form of a maggot. My analysis is that the maggots are to resemble his disgust with humanity and how he too is disgusting like them- but hopes to sprout wings one day- and separate himself from the rest. It's quite poetic really. Gotta love Kyo's words.
@vileASvomit There are so many layers to these lyrics. Also consider the title, which mentions Beelzebub, who is also known as the Lord of the Flies. There's also an underlying theme of gluttony going on. This song represents so many things in what are admittedly some of Kyo's most straightforward lyrics.
@lileekill lol I did the same.

- He doesn`t use these words without reason. If the scene took place in Japan, he could have written “the chopsticks are in place”… @vileASvomit
