@Jerwo0d Yes, i know the original is All along the watchtower, and it is by bob dylan, and then there is Battlestar Galactica verion that is also named All along the watchtower (two, even, one that was used as the cylon activation signal in the series, without vocal, and second one which plays when all 5 cylon in the fleet realize what they are, that one has vocals) and that is made by Bear McReary.

I dont think the ending was over the top or dissapointing - it was perfect, like the entire series. This is by far the best and deepest series ever written for TV, and if I ever see something better than it, I¨ll consider myself blessed!!!
I don't remember what reason they gave, but they had announced during the 3rd season that the fourth would be the final season. Granted if my friends that I used to watch the show with hadn't told me, I might have been caught off guard as well. They liked checking out all the content on the website, etc.. I just wanted to watch the damn show. LOL So I don't think they forced the ending, but I wish it would've been a little better. Still one of my fav shows all-time though.

I think the whole 150,000 years before today was a unique way to go, but it felt like they were trying too hard to make everything fit. They went from the Cylon civil war to the destruction of the race in like 2 episodes.

I took me weeks to get my life back when I finished watching the series, I was depresed it was over. I started a month or so before the last episode from the start, I had a beard and overgrow nails on my feet, not my hands I ate them off, from watching. I loved it. New series about the beginnings called Caprica is starting now :)

Yeah I thought so as well, I never looked into why they ended it when they did, I know they viewer problems for a while, but it developed a cult following later, so it might have been budget. But that's just a guess. The new show looks ok so far.

Its just repeated over and over again... it lacks the variation of the full fledged song from other versions seen in other seasons (like 'Heeding the Call'). I mean good try, but it's pretty obvious what you did.
I didn't say he did a good job or a bad job, I was simply making an observation. He put in his description that it was an edited version... but if you're going to make a song last 5 minutes by repeating 10 seconds of music over and over... you should try to add in variation from the whole 50 second clip on the show.
