This aint automatic, this is semi-automatic. You'll have to hook it up on a BUD on the X-line to be fully automatic, no retilling needed!

Lol thats waaay too complex for me. All i have is a stone pressure plate in front of the fence gate wich fires off sitcky pistons under the dirt the melons are on and i collect the melons.

The automatic harvest ( in my opinion ) needs a bit more of a delay, just because the melons might not grow fast enough, but the design is already ridiculously compact. So, dont change a thing :D Its awesome!

@Zamorak92fs if you use this it will push the bottom of the sugar cane. thus making it not automatically grow. if you make it sideways and make it push the second form the bottom sugar cane it will make the bottom sugar cane regrow into another tall sugar cane plant. so your way will not regrow. you will have to do it manually. which defeats the purpose of making it automatic...
