Adrian Fenty is a smart man. I do believe he may be a Vice President or Cabinet Official one day.I know of his past as a lawyer.Taxpayers will have to watch the cookie jar. He did take money from a client,but put it back once he was reprimanded.Watch him DC,because I live in Maryland.

Right on Parents and Activists - They were trying to tell all of the DC Residents to wake-up and stop the take-over of education - and now look what we have - 1 year later - the corporate thugs - Fenty, Rhee and Reinoso have heisted public education - backed of course by the corporate mob - it's almost a done deal!!! let me sum it up these protester's position:  "I'm a teacher, I want to be able to do a TERRIBLE JOB, but not be held accountable..at all. My comfort is more important then the kids actually learning".

As long as people think "shouting down" is an appropriate response or an effective debate tactic, it's no wonder the schools are failing. If these people are parents I wonder would they be embarrassed to hear their children mass together in a continual mega phoned shouting match. The mayor APPEARED to maintain a high ground simply by being there and remaining calm. He played the people because the people were playable.
