@xXCannonXx Actually; Those 1st gen Camaro's have bolt in front sub-frames & fender aprons. As long as the cowl/firewall section & the floor isn't damaged where the sub-frame bolts in, it's an expensive but worthy salvage. I'm more concerned with the condition of the steering wheel. I'm guessing that the drivers torso caused the damage to the steering wheel & that the drivers ribcage took a pretty good impact. A 6 point cage & safety harness would've secured the driver & better protected him -

@xXCannonXx from injury. I realize that the cars were running in true street. However; The Nova was easily carrying the front wheels 10', I'd guess it's a mid to high 11 sec car. They left even, so I'd put the Camaro at a high 11 sec E.T. @ 110mph - 115mph. Driver safety should require those cars to have a 6-point cage & a safety harness. I'd understand the bent steering wheel if the guy released a safety harness after the initial impact & was injured from the secondary impact. The frame's junk

Why does everyone think its a total loss or its junk now? Some of the motor parts can be salvedged and everything from the doors back is fine besides the drivers side quarter panel.Its just going to need some motor parts, front end, front shocks, front springs,a-arms,radiator, front wheels and tires. etc.
